2024 EQS 450+ SUV lease $792 ( $112K MSRP) should I sign?

I would really appreciate any thoughts on this lease. Is this really a great offer? The dealer was saying that I have until end of day Sunday to sign.

I am being offered a solid discount on the msrp but the monthly lease felt high.

I am also not sure if I should go for 24 or 36 month option.

Sign it, before somebody snipes it from here… remove the photo of car as it shows dealer license frame :+1:
I’d go with the 24 month deal, it is a tad cheaper and you can get another in two years

Not the best deal we’ve seen on here but definitely pretty ok deal. Don’t feel pressured because they said sign by Sunday, it’s a tactic

It’s high payment for a 75k sales price after discount and rebate

What are you basing this statement off of?

Its the 1% after discounts and incentives rule brah

Looks alright. Sonic, Im guessing walnut creek?

24 is cheaper than 36? Weird no?

No, the more discount and incentives you have, the more a shorter term can make sense if the rv is set in such a way.

The effective monthly (taking DAS into consideration) is about the same, 950ish give or take

I guess it depends on the rv for both, it’s just odd to me. In year 3 you’re driving a 3 year old car and paying more than driving a 2 year old car in year 2 with the 24 month option,

Makes no sense to choose the 36 month option, IMO.

It did feel like this lease is being setup in a way so that the 24 month makes more sense.

I asked about residual value and I think I was told $55K but not sure if that was after 24 month or 36. They also didn’t share what the MF is.

Deal sheet gives away a pretty obvious clue to the location/dealer as well, just FYI.

Dealer location / Area was guessed here.
Now is this really good deal? I am loosing a lot of points with the wife fighting for this car lol.
She wants me to get a Rivian R1S for the family since the lease prices are similar.

Id rather have a Rivian than an EQS. It looks cooler. The EQS is a jellybean. EQS does ride better.

For EQS, yes, this is an ok deal for 2024 EQS SUV. It will get better at the end of the year or 1st quarter next year. Personally, if the wife wants Rivian R1S, just get that one, not worth the fight to get EQS for me eventhough I prefer EQS.

Have you test driven other EVs? I find an effective payment of $900+ for an eqs to be mind boggling

This is what the average EQS should cost. I don’t think it’s a great deal, but if you like the deal I think it’s good enough to take. However, I would look at others if you’re willing to pay nearly 1,000 effective (Rivian or IX)

The average eqs deal is 22% off msrp before incentives?

It’s not unusual….theyre having trouble moving them.

It’s not unheard of, but it’s certainly not average with lots of room for improvement.
