First time leasing and first post. Apologies if this is posted incorrectly.
Started contacting Maryland dealers 2 days ago. Did not have to push too hard on the deal. Probably left some money on the table. I was satisfied with the vehicle and price. Dealer shows 49 Hornets in inventory.
This was a demo with 600 miles. Smooth transaction and no B’s from the dealer.
I cross shopped Tonale’s but could not get a better than $340 a month with 0 DAS.
MSRP - $45,720
Selling Price before incentives - $35,465
Incentives - $7,500 (not totally sure what they counted. I qualified for a $500 first responder).
Gross cap cost - $39,551
Cap Cost Reduction - $7,275
Adjusted cap cost - $32,676
Residual value - $28,163
Monthly payment - $224.54
Total DAS - 0
the first one they offer you is for the gt, (i have heard some people had luck with using this one) but if you make an account and save a build, then a few days later they send you the one for the rt.
Question: if I buy a car in NY for a better deal but I register it in Miami where I reside, do I get to enjoy the rebates/incentives available in the NE region or does it strictly go by registration ZIP code only?
Very solid deal, especially for minimal work. I’ve been working on my Tonale/Hornet deals for 3 weeks and best I could do was $257+tax for a $56k MSRP Tonale (27/12) and $210/mo for a $52k Hornet RT+ (24/15). Ive seen people on LH well under $200/mo but I’ve since learned that every single state has so many different factors at play (Doc fees, local incentives, taxes, etc).
