2024 BMW iX50 Lease Question

Would all the rebates apply on a '24 loaner lease?

AFAIK BMW rebates for their electric cars do not go to the loaner fleet.

From my experience, by inquiring about iX loaners, I saw 5900 on the cars with less than 5500mi and 3500 for the cars over that mileage.

Not necessarily waiting until 11:59pm 12/31/2023 but already seeing east coast brokers posting IX 60 demo for 19% off at .00111 MF

I’ve never leased a demo, so not sure how to think about that discount vs what one should expect for a new car.

The payment doesn’t come down equivalent to a straight extra 9% off (19 vs 10) because the RV is also partially reduced based on miles on the odo.

But payments can be reduced a lot and generally on LH no one cares about its former loaner status. Generally the thinking seems to be ā€œit’s a lease so who caresā€ as long as it’s an appealing lower payment

Keep in mind that a demo or loaner will most likely be a MY23 where-as a current in-stock, in-transit or allocation unit will be a MY24. This makes a big difference in secondary market value, which can limit future early exit options. Also, a MY23 will not have highway assist, or Idrive 8.5 – major features – so it’s non-trivial from an experience perspective as well.

Further, most have reported that loaners/demos do not pass thru the full $9900 incentive for which a new unit will qualify. I believe it’s only $5900 (?) So, the increased discount is somewhat optics as it’s needs to offset the loss of incentives.

You could even try for a higher discount on existing inventory. I’ll link you up with my CA once my side is confirmed, hope that’s ok.

Thanks, useful tip. However, my desired specs are quite difficult to find in inventory (xD50, air suspension, chestnut leather, exterior bronze, no DAPP, etc. The few I’ve found are out of state. I’m happy with the current deal for a custom build, so I think I’m gonna move forward.

I’m at 10% before rebates at buy rate

My main frustration was the lack of air suspension. We have it on our x5 and feel it makes a significant difference with ride quality.

Don’t all the x50 2024 have air suspension now ?

no. The IX60m does though. Looking around it appears there was some supply issue with the air suspension earlier this year, so I am guessing that is why so many don’t have it. I might just be picky- but to us its worth the nicer ride. I see some, don’t appear to notice the difference depending on tire spec.

If that’s for in-stock inventory, you might be able to do better i.e. 11-12%.

It definitely made a difference when we test drove. I can see how folks who prioritize a sportier ride and want to be able to feel more of the road might prefer steel coils though. I think the iX (esp the M60) with air suspension is great for my needs, and hopefully the 50’s tuning with air isn’t too different than the M60.

Just ones specced with it.

I still do not understand inventory managers that aren’t automatically throwing the option on every mid-heavy spec iX allocation they’re allotted.

Exactly my thoughts. It’s a relatively affordable option as well.

It’s a build that’s coming in within the week and was exactly what my build was.

what do you think the buy rate of RESERVE | LEASEHACKR is?

Great, 10% + buy rate sounds good, especially since you must’ve built it a while back. Enjoy your incoming ride!
