2024 BMW iX50 Lease Question

There is a link (Customize your deal) to their calculator at the bottom of the page under Deal Details, and it shows that they’re using 0.0009, which is the typical 0.0004 dealer markup to the current buy rate of 0.0005 for the iX 50.

somewhat of an update on my deal from way before. i kept checking my BMWFS account to see if this purchase/lease would show up there and to arrange for my autopay, but it didn’t show up until the first month anniversary from my lease signing day. so i contacted BMWFS and they told me they don’t have a record of a deal on the car with that VIN. :). they told me to contact the dealer and see where things are.

as soon as i pinged the dealer, they told me a signature page from my lease deal was missing and that they will require me to sign another one. they told me the terms will be exactly as the first one (that i signed and executed). because the dealership is pretty far i asked them to send someone and they did. he came today and the agreement was exactly what i signed with the exact term. i called the manager and he said somehow when they submitted the paperwork to BMWFS the signature page was missing and BMWFS rejected it. for that, they are sorry and they are going to make the first payment for me. that’s good, i guess?

in the mean time, i am getting used to not having the seat memory button, chair seems to be okay on the short drives i do daily. (lack of) air suspension bothers me a little bit, but it’s managable. overall, i am happy and there is going to be a 22 DC Fast charger EA facility opening up a few blocks away from me in the 1st Qtr of 2024, so charging should be a whole lot easier as well.

anyway, happy hunting everyone.

BMW’s lease program worsened for these in Jan, it seems. Still $9,900 rebate but residual on 36/10 dropped from 54% to 53% and base rate increased from .00050 to .00111.

I am working on a demo deal right now for IX 50 and they are saying different numbers for MF .00151 vs. .0011 and $5,900 rebate vs. $9,900.

Are they holding back money or is this accurate for demos?

Accurate for loaners.

Demos get $5900 rebate vs $9900 for new IX. Also the money factor is fully marked up (by 0.0004). Dealers generally do that. Ask to see if they. do base money factor or not.

What’s the rest of the deal look like?

Numbers come in almost dead on to the calculator - $1,034 incl. tax (10%) (vs. calc. $1,048)

Terms - 36/10
MSRP - $95,595
Sale price - 81,999 (14.22%)
Zero down / $1,732 drive off
MF - .00151
Rebate - $5,900

Impossible for me to justify given last months programs - i can stretch my current until the end of Q1 to see how the programs evolve.

I was hoping to put this deal together with the .0011 MF and $9,900 rebate and get them down to 16.5% (know this a pretty tall hill to climb, just wasn’t sure how aggressive they would be given big iX inventory)

Oh, you should definitely be able to make a better deal than that on a loaner considering that’s about what a new one would go for.

Heck, we could beat that deal overall (Not the front end discount) on a new one.

It’s difficult to find out where difference is between your calculations and the dealer’s if the calculator is not filled out thoroughly and correctly.
