2023 Mercedes C300. Is this a good deal? In Houston

Hi Everyone! Is this a good deal? MF is .0036. Thinking I can negotiate to .0029 which is standard MF but they are being tough on it. Please advise and thank you! I have tier A credit.

Maybe @derekoh1991 could do better.

Between the rate and the add-ons this is basically paying over MSRP for a C300

At minimum get the dent and appearance package removed. Autonation might give some bs that the appearance package is not removable but then push for a 800 further discount at least to offset. Also, get some other quotes for your trade and keep the deals separate.

Awful. Are you stuck on getting a Merc?

Can’t beat tax credits

They’re not even giving the OP a lender tax credit. Most of that tax credit is coming from the lease return/trade

Yeah I am, they just brought it down to $725 on 36 month lease. Really appreciate everyone’s feedback!!!

Which can’t be done, hm… that’s really weird. Well, I don’t have any C300s anyway

Still awful. I’d be shooting for $650.

50/mo saves you 1,152 so now you’ve at least basically taken out the protection plans, so now with the rate added you’re basically at MSRP. Now shoot for another $50. Keep in mind they’re going to make it sound like that’s impossible and that you’re crazy, you are not.

You guys are incredible. Will keep pushing and keep you updated. THANK YOU!

Yeah, C300’s aren’t exactly the hot commodity this dealer is making it out to be. A similar 330i would likely beat this by miles.

Buy rate and removing the add-ons will improve this deal. Did you check the numbers on a 2024 model? You’re only getting $250 off msrp on a 2023. The 2024 should have a slightly higher residual.

Should I fall for prepaid warranty or is that a pure ripoff? Leaning towards not just would like your opinions please, thanks!

It’s a lease.

They are saying service isn’t included and that I have to pay for it….

Meant prepaid service for 36 months - they are saying it’s $2,000.

For what they’re charging for the car it should be included!

$2,000 just sounds outrageous TBH.

I don’t know about your trade so I can’t comment on it , except to warn you: when the autonation appraised my car, which has zero dents and zero damage on it and looks like brand new in and out, they deducted $2,000 out of it’s TRADE IN value for "mechanical’ reasons, to “change the breaks and mount new tires”, as if trade-in value doesn’t exist to account for those specific costs, let aside overinflated cost of changing two tires and break pads, which I can take to my mechanic buying my own parts and have mounted/fixed at $160/hr. They all think we are fools

But the deal on C300, even if you take your trade off balance sheet, is an obvious con. They claim to give you discount off MSRP, then they charge you for all the cr@ppy add-ons you didn’t ask for, so you end up paying more than MSRP for the car. That’s a really bad deal, IMHO, I would run.
