2023 Mercedes C300. Is this a good deal? In Houston

You have some personal info left uncovered on the deal sheet. Is the C-300 a hot commodity these days?

I wouldn’t pay a penny above $587.00 with $0.00 down for it (and I mean $587 DAS, no deposits, taxes or any fees paid upfront).

Some GM’s will sing a song about current market conditions.

That’s as if there were 500 pregnant women out there craving to eat a chalk, and some smart chalk manufacturer made only 400, and thus each of the chalks were selling for $500 a piece. What do I care about “current market” for chalk and some people with chemical imbalance willing to pay $500 for it? It’s not worth more than couple of dollars, period. If I need to write on the wall I will go buy a bag of charcoal for $10 instead.

Even better. You can burn the charcoal afterward.

I feel that your negotiation is not going in your favor. You should be working to lower your costs, but the finance guy is increasing your overall costs. I imagine that they’ll just roll this into your monthly. Audicare at least bumps your residual for lower lease payments. This is just more commission for the finance guy and more profit for the dealership.

I walked away. Thank you all, will hopefully get a better deal in the next few weeks!
