Signed yesterday picked up today.
Couldn’t get the calculator to match 100%
I was told loaner mileage penalty is all miles over 2000, I thought it was over 3000, which was the case when I got my first one back in February. No point fighting it with that kind of payment.
Found it on Tuesday, called and asked for detail.
Got a quote with the promised selling price but MF marked up to 0.0016. Replied with my offer, took them 2 whole days to confirm, double confirm and triple confirm the detail, finally GSM called back and agreed to the deal late yesterday. Rushed over to pick up first thing in the morning today.
One and only, cannot be replicated.
Here is my best effort on the calculator.
I think the discrepancy is from the extra 1000 miles penalty?
Congrats. I got a similar deal on my EQS580 sedan. I was told the same thing. Loaner mile penalty over 2000 miles.
When the deal is this good, a few hundred bucks is not worth haggling over
1. there’s no $18500 discount. It’s $7500 and $10000 dealer cash.
2. making the dealer do 28% discount before that $11000 is crazy.
with that said, congrats! I do believe the finance mgr made a mistake and they will eat $12k+ loss / rescind the contract. (not sure if they can in NJ)
edit: there is a $11k amex I overlook the EQS580 part.
right. there’s a $10k dealer cash and with amex you get an additional $1k ($11k amex and $10k dealer cash doesn’t stack). what OP get is an additional $11k which is surreal.
I would say 100% dealer rolled that $10k into their discount already.
OP this is 4JGDM4EB4PA002552 in mb of new london right?
They definitely made a mistake on your contract as I called before and they told me the sell price includs $10k mib.
That is almost unheard of. I got 24% off my sedan but that was a few months ago. I’m pretty sure others here have gotten 26%+ off because I’ve seen payments lower than mine. But these are deals far and few in between.
You can go on car gurus and search for new cars and the model you are looking for and then sort for highest mileage. That’ll give you a good idea of which ones are loaners and/ or demos
