2023-2024 Audi Q5 Deal Check

, ,

Just received these options for an Audi dealer. Can I get a check on the MF and percentage off MSRP before incentives.

I can probably negotiate a bit more. Any suggestions for responsible targets on the MF and the percentage off MSRP?

You didn’t post the options. You can get the MF, RV, and incentives from Edmunds or by becoming a supporter of Leasehackr. You also shouldn’t be asking the dealer for options, as you should be telling them what your offer is based on the research you’ve done. If you don’t want to deal with that, hire a broker who in the end will save you far more than their fee.

You didn’t upload anything if that’s what you intended.

And update your title to include model, trim and year.

The 2023 has an 8.39% discount

MF is .00249

The 2024 Q5 40 has a 9% discount

MF is .00290

The 2024 Q5 45 has a 3% discount (we will have to get this car shipped)

The MF is .00265

It’s weird it didn’t post. Check now

Brief browse through the forum will let you know that these are poor deals. Honestly almost any broker on here can do better.

With a $600-700 fee which needs to be factored in

So factor it in, because if you can’t match their advertised discounts then even with the broker fee you’ll be ahead. 12% is doable from the deals posted recently

On a 36 month lease their $600 fee adds $16.67 per month. The quotes you got are far more than $16.67 per month more than a broker will get you.

Q5 programs are trash, you’re just wasting your time.

What is your suggestion for a an SUV since you are saying Q5 isn’t worth it. The feedback is helpful if there is a part two with a suggestion.

The answer is often specific to people’s circumstances which is why it’s always been recommended to check the Marketplace first.

Eg with loyalty a Volvo XC60 might be a good deal. Last month Santa Fe PHEV was on sale, IDK if that’s still the case.

Even though it’s not apples to apples, I’d rather have a RWD based platform with an I6 (Mazda CX90) rather than a FWD based 4-cylinder like the Q5.

Grand Cherokee 4xe also comes to mind as an option.

Seems like a ~$500 broker fee is well worth saving several thousand.

Also check the RV of Prestige vs Premium Plus trim. Unless you really want the prestige you’re going to get better value on the P+ and probably a better deal as they’re more common.

What programs in the luxury compact SUV class are less trash?

Missed your reply.

I guess the Volvo is an answer, fair enough.

But the Santa Fe is not a luxury SUV lol. Q5 is not FWD biased…it is RWD biased. The CX90 is a size class above…pretty sure it is equivalent to a BMW X5. Also whether or not Mazda is a luxury car is debatable.

We don’t live in the 2012-2021 era any more where it was cheaper to lease a X3 than a CRV. So now people really need to decide how much they’re willing to spend to have a nicer badge on the front.

Especially when the nicer badged vehicle isn’t actually a luxury vehicle. The drivetrain is worse, the materials are worse and it’s beyond obsolete.

There’s actually nothing debatable about whether a Q5 is more luxurious than a CX90. The unequivocal answer is that it’s not.

Like I said, it’s not apples to apples. It’s a SUV with more of both factors (sport and utility) while not being a behemoth like a Suburban.

Is there a single reason I should choose the Q5?

It is not. When in 2WD mode to save fuel, it only powers the front wheels.

I feel like I am being trolled, except I know you are a frequent poster on this forum. Maybe I have only been looking at M performance versions of BMW’s so my perspective is skewed…but nothing from Honda or Mazda or any Japanese or Korean make comes anywhere close to the blend of luxury and performance of the German luxury makes. I mean the CRV does 0-60 in 8.3 seconds…how are we even having this discussion? Of course it is $30k less than an X3 M40i but then again no one ever claimed a BMW or Audi was a “value” purchase.

Yes, in that case your perception is skewed. And something much more expensive is not relevant to the discussion.

Anyway you can quibble all you want and construct goalposts that, say, only 3 vehicles can get through. That’s not how I look to spend my money. To each their own. If a Q5 being worth its cost is the hill you want to die, so be it, we can agree to disagree
