This is where I’m at with negotiations on a new Q5 Premium+. Right now they have me paying my monthly slightly more than the calculator and almost a 1K more on the drive off fees. I will not be making any down payments or MSDs. Thoughts?
Agreed with max_g. Yikes - this is what I paid for my $66k (2020 model year, purchased in November 2020) SQ5 per month after adding Audi Care, with roughly the same DAS.
Thanks for scolding me. I understand the difference of a 2020 in December vs. a 2021 in January. But the OP should still know that $621/mo for a Q5 is probably more than one should pay for that car if for no other reason than the incentives are weak. Yes, you can compare two deals a month apart on different cars for the purpose of saying — for the same price, would you rather have last year’s model of a better car… from there, it’s up to the OP to decide.
I appreciate all the input ya’ll. I’m coming out of my first lease on a 2018 Q5 Premium+ (a deal which I did zero research on at the time) In hindsight it kills me to know that I basically could’ve been driving an SQ5 these past 3 years! Lesson learned for sure.
Update Here’s what I got for a 2021 Premium Plus w/Audicare and Wear & Tear. This also includes the Warm Weather Package which my original post didn’t. Much better yeah?
Audi has a promotion covering the first month’s payment on the 2021 Q5. So you should not have to make the first monthly payment, thus the drive off amount should be lower.
You might want to also get quotes on the Q5e hybrid. It has big lease cash ($7,212), and qualifies for a California Clean Fuel Reward of $1,341.
