9% is not bad, go for 11%
I got 11.93% off beginning of the month.
Youāre also in NJ. (A much more saturated and hyper-competitive market)
And OP is receiving Lender tax credits specific to Texas (often used for gross ā dealer isnāt obligated to use these)
True. But because of no tax, best I was able to get in NJ was 9% off.
I had to go out of my way to get my deal.
Sweet.
The Premium+ and Prestige both have features I like but I am trying to keep my daily driver monthly costs as low as possible and forgo the āwantsā.
It probably doesnāt help I also drive a super analog car from the 80s. I am surprised I am even considering an electric. LOL.
- Adaptive cruise is nice but I just donāt want to pay for it.-
- I drove a car with lane assist and I got irritated.
- Ventilated seats would be nice especially in Texas summers.
- B&O sound system would be great also.
Rest of the items are all gimmicks to me. I have multi-color LED interior light in my BMW and ya I changed it a couple of times but nothing I would miss.
To me, a good lane following system is an important feature. There are a lot of brands that have systems that are miserable. It may not be a feature thatās important to you, but donāt make your conclusion on only one experience from one companyās implementation.
Itās OK.
One day OP will get a loaner with the feature and decide they would like to trade up.
It was a 2020 BMW X5.
You should drive in my city. Lanes are optional. Half the time they are faded out and the other half there are 30 variations from the endless construction.
Residual hit percentage in non-western region states nets out at around high 2% delta because of higher lease cash for Prestige. On a 24/7.5 - assuming 11% pre-incentive discount on both and including Costco ā¦there is roughly $160 per month pre use -tax difference in a $79.5K P+ and an $84.3K Prestige - both with Black Optic optionā¦this assumes full MSDsā¦and normal DAS itemsā¦
For sure the P+ represents the best value for a finely equipped e-tron. It just comes down to choice for individual total option/feature preferenceā¦
Dealer brought the car over to the house. Signed the papers. Car is mine. Thank you to everyone for the input! Will post pictures in a little bit.
If you are in Houston, I can recommend an electrician for you to install a 240v plug. The 8.7 kWh makes a huge difference. I was charged ~$300 for the installation and is a federal tax deduction where you can receive I believe up to 30% of the installation cost.
Sales Tax appears to be wrong. TX is a 100% Price taxable State.
Heās getting a sales tax credit.
Can you get any sort of usable charging out of a 110v outlet?
yes please! can you give me that info?
Ooo wonder how this works. I havenāt seen anyone post that before.
Texas tax credits get discussed here all the time. It pretty much comes down to taxed at 1.25% on the full price rather than 6.5%
Looks great, enjoy!
Looks great. I may have to do the same this weekend.
Fun facts about this deal:
- have never driven an electric
- never drove this car or saw it in person
- not sure where the dealership is (never been there)
- never met anyone at the dealership
- first time getting the tax credit (seemed mythical but yes itās real)
Fortunately, other than the lack of idle creep, the etron drives like a normal car. Easy to find yourself speeding with how quiet it is though.
