2020 Mercedes Benz C43 Sedan - SoCal - $638/Month

Right that’s what I meant to say. Audi I think however does RV+.

Also for 60K miles you are likely need 3rd set of tires and break jobs for front and back

Alright fellow hackers,

I’ve been working on this lease deal and need some feedback before I close the deal:

2019 C43 Sedan:
MSRP: $71,010.00
MSRP After Discount: $55,250.00
12k miles
48 months
Monthly: $626
DAS: $1750
MSD: none
MF: 0.00099
Residual: 48%
Tax: 7.75%

Residual and MF verified at Edmunds. Looks like dealer is making $300 profit on Acquisition Fee. Anything else I could possibly ask for?

more details here:

Have you considering getting an M340xDrive instead?
a 48 month lease is pretty much forever, plus you’ll be out of warranty.

I would not lease this car out of warranty…
check out the calc for an M340 lease
$641 per month with CA Tax. $1750 DAS. 36/12k lease.

agreed do not lease a c43 I was in the same situation as you avoid and go for a bmw m340

C43 was nice! I found it much nice of a vehicle body shape wise. I went w m340 as others posted for price. M340 drove alil better and the price for my 2 year lease was over 120 cheaper then a 36/7.5 on mercedes. My price per month is still cheaper for 24/10 m340 lease then your listed price.

How so? MB offers a 4-yr/50K warranty.

To the OP, $1095 acquisition fee is not uncommon w/ MB, I think.

How do the numbers work out for a 36-mo lease (is there a reason why you want 48 mo)? And how do you numbers compare to other recent C43 deals? Off the top of my head, your numbers don’t look bad, but I don’t follow C43 deals closely.

48 month will be better for the C43s typically. Make sure the vehicle isnt punched yet so you get the full balance of the warranty.

Just to add a datapoint – I went looking for a C43 a few months ago and I wound up purchasing a off-lease 2017 C43 with 22K miles for $34K from MB wholesale with an original MSRP of $69K. I just refinanced it at 3.9% for 72 months, payments are $532/mo. The vehicle has just under 2 years and 28K miles of original warranty left, my intent is to sell when the warranty expires, so I am looking at it as a 2 year lease. Over those 2 years the cost of financing will be only $6384 and and the depreciation curve suggests I should be around even if not positive. Yes, it’s not a brand new 2020, but you really wouldn’t know from the way it looks or drives.

And, if you’re changing the car every 2-3 yrs and are never out of warranty, does it even matter if you have one that’s brand new? Tech is constantly being updated, so even a brand new car will be out of date soon enough…

To add another data point, I ended up going for a different c43:

2019 C43 Sedan
MSRP: $64,385
Sale Price: $49,936
Discount: 22.5%
12k miles
48 months
Monthly: $517
MF: 0.00139
Tax: 7.75%

Warranty started on the day I leased so it will cover the 4 years/ 48k miles.

Thanks for the help @Calvin.MB, I wish you had a 2019 MY in your inventory!

I did test drive a m340i. While that car has a better lease program, I prefer the body and exhaust on the c43.

Congrats! Enjoy it!

Lots of BMW fanboys here but – IMO the C43 is a much more refined experience, and with a few mods, more fun to drive. You got a great deal, congrats. I’ve got a Racechip tune in my 17 and in Sport+ mode w/ the PE open it’s a rocketship.

Do you guys know if the new first payment incentive from Mercedes apply to the 2019 models or only 2020

Post pics please!

I’ll be looking at the Eurocharged tune once I reach my break-in mileage. Not enough reasons to drive now :frowning:

I’ve never done a tune under a lease. Any issues with warranty?

It only becomes an issue if you have an engine problem, aka you have to be ready to ‘pay to play’. Carbahn matches warranties, but the tunes cost a bit more money.

Most C43 tunes are piggy back style and consist of a T-harness and tuning module. Once the harness is installed you can remove the tuning module and the vehicle is back running in stock mode. I remove my racechip like this when going for warranty service.
