2020 Honda Pilot AWD EXL $370 Month (Good Deal?)

Received this quote from Honda Dealer in NJ.

Honda Pilot EXL MSRP $40955

36M/12K $370 a month sign and drive

Qualified for $1500 in rebates according to dealership. Currently have a Durango in Household.

Trying to get this down to $350 Month SignAndDrive. Any chance? Or should I just take deal?

Thanks

When you take the current rv/mf/incentives you got from edmunds before starting to talk to dealers and put together a calculator of the costs, how much pre-incentive discount is necessary to get your to $350/mo $0das? How does that percentage compare to other pilot deals you found while researching?

Every deal I’ve seen here on Pilots and Odyssey’s are $500-$550 a month and people feel like they got a steal…

$370 sign and drive on a $41k Pilot seems like a unicorn

There’s been several in the mid to high $300s recently

EX-L should be a unicorn!

Those might have been Elites or just bad deals.

$350-375 sounds about right for an EXL considering it’s a middling trim and the Pilot is old.

Rookie here - what is meant by unicorn?

Usually refers to a deal that’s significantly better than normal and not really replicable

A deal that’s so good it’s very hard to replicate

I agree. I got quoted about the same in CA

Why not get a range rover for same price LOL.
This is far from a good deal.

Thanks for the feedback. I had 2 dealers tell me they could not touch $370. Agreed on $360 Sign and Drive thru Honda Financial. Picking up car on Monday.

A extremely good deal on a loaner, small cuv isn’t really a good comparison point for a new 7 passenger suv… At least pick something that’s competitive.

u guys just keep wasting ur money on trash hondas, worth $5k used

I had an evoque for a while… it depreciated like a rock. My wife’s CR-V she had at the same time, however, held its value very well.

Honestly, 3 Row Hondas are coveted by dealers when they are at lease end. I’m currently getting out of a Dodge Durango GT Blacktop and no one even wants to touch it!

Lol what? Are you referring to the 90’s Isuzu Honda Passport? Please don’t post garbage comments.
