2020 BMW X7 Lease TX

,

No I haven’t signed, but like I posted earlier, BMW is giving away 5 series… They told me no tax credits on any SUV’s. I am getting an SUV because I have a baby coming and that’s the whole reason I’m getting a new car. However, the GSM was telling me about the deals they are able to give on 5 series sedans right now and it made it VERY tempting. I think you could get a fully loaded 5 series for under $600 a month right now.

@Patdoughe sorry buddy, there’s too much to read on this topic so I missed that info. I wish they can waive it huh.

I’m in Round Rock and my Property Taxes are serious… Central Texas was once reasonable now competing with the bigger markets. Bats and Barton Springs! LOL

@Sandiego92127 haha, yours was actually the only other post I found really that talked much about X7, and I actually agree with you. The dealers down here are saying “they are flying off the lot”, but honesty the first dealership I went to in early may still had the same X7’s on the lot as they did in May, last week. So it does make me wonder if that is just the front BMW is putting up. Also, I live in a city where nice cars are a dime a dozen and I NEVER see X7’s on the road. Just my observation. Maybe BMW is trying to Will this fact into existence?

@LeaseLoso Bats, Barton Springs, traffic and skyrocketing housing. Austin is becoming San Francisco 2.0 with all the Tech companies and startups.

I would drive/fly to Missouri to get this deal…

And “dealers not budging off sticker” I’ve heard that many times. They said that about most of my SUV’s but theres always dealers a drive away willing. That the biggest sucker quote from a dealer to get you to think youre getting a deal.

The X7 leases are like the porsche and Navigator lease post. That’s why they are exotic on this website. AKA, nothing to talk about coz it’s not a hackr friendly.

@VirginiaBeacher I would take a greyhound bus to Missouri for that deal. My RV I got was .57. This is my first lease, so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but isn’t RV nationwide?

Bluetooth connection will be way better with this next iPhone update. Interesting reading everyone’s opinions. X7 has superior quality and technology, the navigator has superior cargo volume and practicality and the gls has superior luxury. If you’re gonna load 7 passengers in an x7, good luck with the tiny cargo volume, but if you just need a car with just-in-case back seats, x7 takes the nod imo. I’ll be upgrading to a larger car in 2 years and I know I won’t be scoring a deal with these monsters. I’ve got my eye on what the new Escalade has to offer

@leasealot it will cost your lease a lot for the new cadillac. no pun intended. But you’ll enjoy it and I will be the first one too give you a 2 thumbs up.

No its based on area, but to my understanding, I maybe wrong, Residual isn’t marked up but the MF can be. So that’s probably right for your area. (Someone verify this I don’t want to spread false information if I was given false info).

Also, you really should try dealers all around. I drove 4 hours to get my Audi SQ5 when all my dealers around told me that 12% off is impossible and no one would give me that much off a 2019. So its worth the email to the sales managers around to get that discount.

You have time and you should try to get one for the most money off, lowest MF, since its a lease.

I anticipate having to make that lease v buy decision if the cadi turns out great

I would assume that with Cadillac being a GM product, the buy decision wouldn’t be as hard, since I am assuming Cadillacs are more reliable long term than BMW. I may just have a sour taste in my mouth from my other (and only) BMW that started having lots of problems around 90K miles. It was then that I told myself I would never buy another BMW outright and hence why I am jumping into the world of leasing for the first time with this one.

Not true in 2017 Escalade was reviewed as being one of the top unreliable:

And consumer reports ranks Cadillac as a brand terrible for reliability.

@Patdoughe this is my opinion, you buy an accord but I will only lease a 5 series. I would never buy a luxury vehicle because it gets old and I will want the newer one. That’s why it’s luxury. You want to feel luxurious. That’s just my 2 cents. I’ll pay extra to lease it than to buy it. TX leasing is very tricky because of the upfront tax. If ever I live there, I don’t know if I can afford going to luxury vehicle if they don’t waive the sales tax.

I just leased a bmw myself. It’s the right way to go when you consider longevity. Man, coming from an Infiniti what a night and day difference between the brands… sorry, there’s a trillion posts, but did you end up in the x7?

@leasealot it’s a gazillion due to trolls like me. Lol. Bimmer for me is lease the new ones and enjoy it. I always enjoy driving a bimmer. 12 years in a row I have a bimmer in my garage. From 3-7. No SUV yet, maybe the X7 next year.

I didn’t do anything special, I read the posts on this website. Test drove the car then did all the negotiations through text. I knew what discount I wanted, I wasn’t picky about the options. The sales associate said that there’s one that they’re willing to negotiate on because it’s not “in demand” (mineral white, beige leather, parking assist, tow hitch, gesture control, cold weather package…). We texted back and forth for 3 days. Then stopped he wasn’t giving me the discount I wanted. A few days later he texted saying that they’ll give me the price. I was willing to walk away because I wasn’t set on really set on it.
This website gave me all the info and knowledge I needed to get this deal.

Best way to negotiate is you have time to negotiate especially for unhackable vehicle. Seems like the OP has time to negotiate. Give it a shot at other dealership like Houston and Dallas too. If it’s worth the hassle, do it @Patdoughe. Maybe they have the captain chair there you’re looking for. Or even go out of state. You’re going to spend a lot of money, why not get all your checklist covered.
