Hi I wanted to get an opinion on this deal. 2019 leftover. 12% off MSRP. MF matched what edmunds says. Im in NJ.
The final monthly comes to 390/month, 2500 down including GAP. The Calculator below is without GAP.

On rodo 411.00 month NO money down
Forgive my ignorance, what is rodo?
Rodo = Marketplace App for leases.
I’m getting a quote later today for the same vehicle. Slightly different terms - 36/12. I’ll keep ya posted.
^^ That is interesting. Anyone ever have a local deal match one of the deals on RODO?
Im looking to do a trade and have them cut me a check. Dont know if that will get too complicated.
$900 seems high for Toyota GAP - thought it was $500 for all Toyota leases.
Avoid the Gap Insurance through Toyota, instead save yourself a bunch of money and get it through your auto insurance company.
Geico doesnt seem to offer GAP
Ok. May want to switch insurance companies if possible, to save money on your policy and gap coverage for this lease IMO, just a thought.
Problem is I just switched. Im pretty low now i pay 649/6M for a 2013 Rogue and a 2019 STI
It might be called something else. When I did a progressive quote I kept looking for GAP word but found it called something else. I found it with all the details of the actual coverage, around the section of rental coverage I think.
Just checked
"GEICO does not currently offer gap insurance, insurance that covers the “gap” or difference between your car’s actual cash value and what you still owe on it. You may want to check with your financing company to see if you have gap insurance or if it is available to you.
Was this helpful?"
I can verify that GEICO does not offer gap insurance. I called them when I was about to sign for my Volvo about two months ago. Found out shortly after that gap is included in Volvo leases.
Screw TFS. Charging $500-900 for a policy where the expected payout is like ~$20
App to order a car
So are you saying it is not worth it to get gap insurance?
Some people have no risk tolerance at all. A .05% chance of losing $4,000 doesn’t bother me.
But if needing gap bothers you, find a different lender.
Definitely the cheaper route if you are only considering dollars. I would mention to the dealer you are looking at other sources for gap before you can make a commitment. They might be able to discount the gap on their end (if they are marking it up or not). Then it’s a matter of cost over convenience to you. Is it worth your time to have to work through a third party in the event you do need to make a gap claim? Might not be worth the headache for the savings (for me at least).
Exactly my thoughts. im doing the same thing with my trade. If they can cut me a check for close to my number i will trade it in instead of selling it privately.
Side note I did get a pretty good quote to buy from Carvana. maybe i can use that to negotiate the trade value of the Rogue.
