2019 ES 350 Luxury MSRP $52003 36 / 7.5k $0 DAS $469 + Tax = $499 x 35 mo = $17465 total lease All incentives taxes fees included. First month paid by dealer/lexus. Selling Price after $11,390 approx. disc. is $40,613 which with a RV of 49% and MF of .00005 which doesn’t add up but it’s all I could get the Sales manager to agree upon after 2 visits and multiple emails, texts and calls. The deal is contingent upon me reviewing all the numbers and double checking figures when I arrive in the morning.
I had several Hackrs say it was a pretty good deal.
Are you on another hacking site? I would feel more comfortable spending 500 a month on literally any other car over the ES 350. It’s a glorified Avalon.
What are the incentives?
How can an ES 350 with 7,500 miles a year for 36 months have an RV of 49? Have you confirmed these numbers with Edmunds?
have them resurface the rotors if the vibration doesn’t go away in a few miles. You don’t want the rust to eat away your brake pads and then be blamed for driving like a maniac.
Don’t be a douche… I understand he wants an ES but he’s getting quoted a ridiculous amount for what is basically a glorified Avalon. For that money, he’s better off in a better, larger and faster Lexus or dropping the car altogether…
This is a forum to “open peoples eyes “ about leasing. You and I might already have their eyes open, but most don’t. That’s how they’ll learn .
I see a lot of ass wipes on here, including moderators, brokers, and other members who think they know it all and provide no insight, help or guidance to the newbies. And I’m going to start calling them out too. Merry Xmas.
Honestly have you shopped around or drove other cars?
I had a GS350 F Sport in 2013, absolutely loved loved the car and would pay around that price for it, $500.
I had a new ES as a loaner a month or so back when my GX went in for service and I liked it, it was very average at everything which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Nothing really stood out about it but definitely a fine vehicle, other than maybe the looks, i thought it was very pretty and liked the looks a lot. I told myself if I could steal this thing for my next lease I would consider it but then found out it didn’t come in AWD so that was it.
I wouldn’t pay anywhere near $500 a month for one, that is just my opinion coming from someone who had one for a week and has had multiple Lexus vehicles. Something is up if you can’t get that car for significantly cheaper…
So referring to your post? I think it is totally fine to show alternatives but it is pointless to just start listing all possible cars. Provide some numbers. A 52k ES is nicely equipped, I doubt your GS in your theoretical example has the same options.
I’ve seen what brokers on here are offering them for and I recently negotiated a GX lease for a lower number which is a more expensive and much more desirable vehicle, the dealer had 3 GX on the lot compared to probably 30 ES. I also know from owning multiple Lexus and just recently having an ES for a week what i would personally value it at. If you’re saying the issue are the numbers this month then wait until next month.
We all get it, you have the same car so how dare anyone criticize your car right? This isn’t something personal, stop shooting down everyone because you don’t agree and you think it’s some personal attack on your car, nobody cares about that. You’re using your incredible bias towards your car to convince someone to accept a garbage price for what he is getting.
I fully understand that this forum is for discussing numbers but at some point you have to just tell someone “hey there are much better alternatives”…don’t you?
This coming from someone who has owned a Lexus since they were 16 and no matter what other car i had I still owned a Lexus. In my OPINION they are the best made vehicles on the planet but to tell someone to pay that much for an ES would be criminal.
Actually it isn’t even my car. I helped get the deal but it isn’t my car. Personally I would never get an ES as well, especially for $500 but like you and I said… "personally ". At the current time $500 for a $52k ES is a good deal. Period.
You clearly don’t understand how leasing works if you say that GX has higher MSRP and the payment is X therefore ES should have a lesser payment because the MSRP is less.
The reason the lexus dealer only had 3 GX is because no one wants those monsters. They have 30 ES because they are super popular.
