Haha got it buddy, $500 for a 36/7.5 ES is a good deal because that’s what the numbers add up to…
Say no more
I live in Michigan, nobody with half a brain would take a FWD ES350 over a GX. I promise you there is not one person on here who would say they would lease that car at that price but it’s still a good deal because that’s what the numbers come out to. God forbid any real world logic should be applied right?
Have fun on that cross, good luck and Merry Christmas.
It’s a “good” deal for an ES which has terrible residuals. The dealer took a large chunk off MSRP pre rebates. Wish the dealers would be willing to take off that much in So Cal on 2019 RCs which have been sitting on the lots. My last two Lexus leases I was able to
get $6000 off (RC and IS). That was even early in the year in a refresh.
Thinking a 2019 at the end of the year that Lexus would be flexible but they won’t. This is multiple dealers as well.
Don’t concern yourself with someone making a car lease into something personal but then chastises you in the next sentence because you have a personal opinion…
You may have missed the point I was making with my post.
The factors for this lease are terrible. You have a decent discount, but the RV Absolutely kills this from being a good lease compared to its segment competitors.
Lexus did something with the ES/GS. They elevated the ES front wheel drive platform to the place of the GS and did away with the GS. Now the ES competes in the mid Size rear wheel drive luxury segment. This is a highly competitive area. You can absolutely get a 530i for better terms than this.
No, the first offer 3 months ago of $21,000 for the entire 36 month lease was a ridiculous amount. The fact that I can get this ES 350 Luxury with an MSRP of $52003 for $499/mo. but I can’t get an Avalon Limited for less than $700 or a 2020 XLE V6 for this .
And the salesman is a trusted person and he saw my entire quote for my ES 350 just to know what he was competing against. His comment was they are keeping the Avalons High to protect the ES’s.
The way you are expressing your point is more helpful and understandable now versus your first attempt. So thank you for that. The take away for me is that for this deal with this car I am getting a good deal with what I am given. That doesn’t necessarily make it the best Value relative to other vehicles. But if I was in love with THIS car (which I’m not) would you agree that it’s a good deal based on current conditions for this car with the available terms?
I’m open to suggestions with specifics if you are offering that?
Please tell me what I should be paying. Everyone that thinks this is an abomination of a deal seems to leave out what this deal “Should” look like. Give me something for comparison or to at least let me know what I SHOULD be looking to pay. At least an estimation. $400/ month, $300? I mean, how much should a $52000 Lexus ES 350 Luxury 2019 go for per month? I have given most of the relevant numbers multiple times to give a good basis for what the deal looks like. Yet no where has someone yielded a “reasonable” $ amount.
This is a 2019. Have you checked the numbers on the 2020? Verify the residual, MF and incentives for both years? Sometimes the next years model’s number might work out better.
Have you done your homework and see what they’re selling for on average ? The discount seems weak especially on a 2019.
You really need to have done all your homework to assess what you’re working with to see if the dealer is giving you a good/decent deal.
Yes. They are not better. Rv’s are better. Discounts are not! I have multiple quotes for 2020 es. 350. I have done LOT’s and LOT’s of homework.
I have trust me.
Read my other posts of other comparisons. Also, 3 other deals wouldn’t touch this deal. Hell, I couldn’t even get better Avalon Limited Deal.
Trying to find a GS in my area is quite difficult. None in my state and very few in surrounding states. I’m betting that with that low of inventory that $500 for a new one might prove difficult? But what do I know apparently?
Lexus axed the GS 300, not the GS 350. The ES has more up to date interior and infotainment and mountains more room than the GS.
I speculate that the GS will go the way of the dodo soon. Many Lexus shoppers value room and comfort and quiet and practicality more than the better driving dynamics proffered by RWD.
