Very tempting, how much you are being offered? I’m thinking of stopping by CarMax sometime soon.
@Lvs23 I know. I walked away as I know that way too much for that type of car and for a lease.
One dealer mentioned $214 /m with Zero DP for base and had a high number for Limited.
Looks like a Niro might be a better bet this month. Not as good as Ioniq last month, but if you just had to get a hybrid this month…
@Qbrozen - which zipcode is that for? Dont see any in Rodo for MD
central NJ
$17,750. Need to accept and see if my payoff with my DAS would result in any equity.
Second issue is getting similar deal this month without extra $1k rebate.
Guessed… it should be in North East.
I cant imagine getting a better deal than last month without the 1k Rebate
I’m not hoping for better. I’d be OK with “same” as I have now.
So that I can pile one any equity from current deal plus bonus rebate twice.
Off topic, but anyone notice almost no accellaration even on full throttle? Happens occasionally, especially if battery is low.
Not in sport mode! ;b
Wish they made sport mode like in proper electric cars that would throw you in your seat, even if it gave you 10 miles. It’s neither here or there.
I’m pleased with a 36 month lease I was able to put together on a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Limited Plug-In Hybrid PHEV last week in Massachusetts. $206/month plus sales tax. $0 down and only 1st month’s payment due at drive off. Lease comes w/10,000 miles annually.
Thanks for everyone’s earlier contributions to the thread!
Leasehackr score: 12.9 years. I think this is how the Leasehackr calculator broke it down:
Great deal. Congrats. Didn’t think Hyundai still had $10,000 in rebates this month. Be sure to check if you qualify for Bonus Drive. It’s an easy $500.
Thanks! I did submit for that rebate because of what I read on earlier posts. I made the submission a few days ago and it appears to be in the queue. Won’t know if it’s approved for a few weeks at least I guess.
I’m over in Ohio do any of those rebates apply? I’ve been on Edmunds but I was confused with the Ioniq due to its NY/CT discounts.
My local dealer returned a $400/ month quote and I actually laughed and spit my water out because it was beat by Acura, Lexus and BMW deals and was twice the deal of an equivalent Honda Civic (which doesn’t even lease that well)
What’s the trick to making a Hyundai lease work? I can’t make it happen zip 45305
Post your own request on Edmunds. Ohio may not have the same rebates as NY and MA. If not, it may be worth the drive to the East Coast as the rebates are dealer location based not buyer location based.
Easier to check autobytel.com which shows your zip code has half the rebate of the east cost.
Trying to get is from here and ship it may not be worth it.
But signing in person and driving back may be. Just need to figure if the car and the deal are worth 10 hours drive:)
$4,543 rebate in that zip code, not worth it, unless you can get the dealer discount another $5k.
I was working with Country Hyundai in Northampton, MA. They quoted me $199/month with just first month due at signing to a Chicago suburb. This included the 8.25% tax here. Shipping was $700. This was the best deal I’ve found in February.
May be worth looking into buying. Hyundai currently has a $3,250 rebate (along with 1.9% APR for 60 months) and the Federal Tax credit is about $4,500. That’s already a $7,750 discount.
