2019 Acura RDX ASpec AWD Is this a Good Deal?

,

I have two quotes so far in NYC

2019 RDX Advanced AWD
$639.00 per month for 36/10 which includes NY taxes
Nothing down and first month DAS

2020 RDX Technology AWD
$489 per month 36/10 NOT including taxes
$3000 DAS - includes taxes

Don’t really feel either of these are good deals…

I ended up signing tonight and here is what I got in NJ for a 2020 Acura RDX AWD Modern Metallic Steel Tech Package - 36/10 lease. Hope this info helps someone else do even better! I needed the car so decided to pull the trigger.

MSRP - $42,967.00
Sale Price - $39,257.65
$459 per month
$4059 DAS which consists of
$1529.01 Sales Tax
$337.34 License Title and Reg Fees
$498.00 Dealer Document/Prep Service Fee
$595 Acquisition Fee
$459 First Month
$640.65 - A$$ tax

$559 effective monthly payment… if you’re happy with the car that’s all that matters. I think many here would want more car for that payment.

I agree and from everything I read here they just aren’t leasing well. Didn’t see any posts showing much better if better at all. Wife loves the car out of all the crossovers we tested (BMW, Volvo, Infiniti etc) and apparently she is not alone because they are moving this line and people are paying.

Springfield Acura (where I got this car) has a bunch of 2019 MDX base models left that I overheard the sales manager say $350 a month.

The A Spec isn’t leasing well. The other trims seem to be doing alright.

Glad you found a vehicle you enjoy. It’s a lot of money for it, but hope you enjoy it!

Hmm, I combed these forums and don’t see better deals on the tech package either. Can you please enlighten me on where these better deals are posted? I am the first to post a deal on a 2020.

I ran it through the calculator using my numbers and got a 7.1 rating. Not terrible on a car that is not leasing well IMHO. I am here to learn and would love to know how I could have done better other than getting a different car or going the purchase route which adds headaches.

Hmm, I suppose all the good deals are on the RDX base. There may be more incentives to move those.

The poster is also referring to a 2020 model.

@arcome: obviously too late now, but were there any 2019s left over?

German does not equal “better”. All it equals is worse resale value, and less reliability.

Must be fake news if Porsche and Audi are considered ahead (based on J.D. Power and Associates and Consumer Rankings) of Acura.

Sad day.

All I see is Toyota, Lexus, Subaru…
Where is VW?

Cool to know that Buick and Chevrolet are ahead of Audi. Must be a sad day for them…

It’s fakes news. I told you.

Fake not fake, Acura’s are solid and hold value. Audi’s do not.

Great insight. So how does that harm a lease holder? Aren’t those two of the primary reasons to lease?

Well why do you think they have so many repo’s? I really have yet to see 4Runner repo’s or GS350 repo’s, because you can actually sell them without being upside down in the first year.

Which is totally irrelevant for a lease.

That said, I’d take an RDX over an x3
