Not in NER. Ask @TaiChi.
No, I think itās in effect which is what the dealer told me today. My deal was closed on April 2 which was the last day for A Plan discount without any restrictions.
He didnāt know then. Heās fine with it
If theyāve been postponed, thatās news to me and everyone Iāve spoken to. Iād love to be able to go to my local dealer and say āhey, they actually postponed that, letās do this dealā.
Not many dealers will serve it to you on a plate after this upcoming change was widely reported, but there are some who will. But again, it may be regional, as I said before.
Interesting. I will investigate with a couple dealers and report back.
Iād be intrigued to learn more in regards to that as well.
I reached out to a couple of the dealers Iāve worked with basically saying Iām looking to do a deal if the policy has been postponed (which is true). Iāll update with what they say.
Why not to just say that you will put a deposit on a deal at X% off (where X > 6) + a-plan cash and see what they say?
@theburgerking got 10% off and a-plan (in Trophy Garage), donāt know this month or not.
I had a couple offers at 10% last week, but couldnāt jump at the time because of my trade in. Have a lease transfer pending at the moment, so itād be a week or two before I could commit.
This is a great deal, I will definitely check out this dealer
With a 44K sale price and 56% RV, the car is going to trade around 23K after two years? Isnāt that terrible resale?
Weāre also in the market for V90CC and getting confused now, whether to go for it.
Itās based off msrp. Not sale price, so $33k residual
RV is based on MSRP.
Thanks, people! 202020
FYI. Manufacturers do not and cannot control what a dealer chooses to sell their vehicles for. There are no restrictions on what a Volvo dealer chooses to discount their vehicle. Itās just salesmanship. I received almost 11% off of my S90. It wasnāt difficult. Ya just gotta have the right person willing to do the deal. I chose the largest, most aggressive dealer in SoCal and had it delivered to my front door. Never stepped on the lot.
I have had two dealers tell me that theyāre either not aware of a change in a-plan policy or it hasnāt gone into effect yet, so it would appear things may be delayed. I stand corrected it seems.
Laissez les bons temps rouler!!! at least for another month.
Yes the dealer can sell for what they want but in this case Volvo is providing an extra $3k and I am sure Volvo can put qualifying requirements for the dealer to earn that 3k.
I tried to see where you might guy have posted this, but which dealer did you ultimately go with?
