All incentives will stack the same way. Discount below invoice is different, it’s not incentive.
Well, yes, you’re right. In this case, you’d be better taking the 13% discount and forgoing the a-plan bonus though.
11% or better, but it won’t be easy below 11%. Still $3k worse than now on S90.
I do wonder if I could get a dealer to negotiate a bit more now on a trade-in though. Sure, you’re capped at 6% on the discount on the s90, but I know the dealers are willing to take 10+% off. Just write the deal as 6% off on the msrp of the S90 and apply the other 5% of S90 MSRP to my trade in value.
Not yet…
Well, everywhere else but this dealer it seems.
Not just this one, others may not know yet, especially CAs. Or they are bluffing not to give bigger discounts.
I’ve had the two out here I was working on a deal with already tell me no on a-plan as of the start of the month.
A deal such as this is certainly appealing if there are still ways to get there.
Just noticed they dropped all additional A Plan incentives other than the $5750 for the T8 models. Not that I could find one by me!
Is that an increase from the $3k?
Significant decrease eliminating the discount from MSRP and the 3K Elite bonus
Yeah I just logged in. All the T8 lost the incentives. They are moving <100 units a month, but I guess they don’t care. April is a bad month to buy
I think they were having production issues with the T8 so maybe less volume available thus don’t need to discount as much.
Too many potential sub $500 leases on 75k vehicles must have gotten them scared.
I’m trying to get a $350 lease for a S90 - proposal mimics multiple deals I’ve found scattered. Am I completely mad or can this actually happen as:
MSRP: $60,190 - according to the website.
Price: $44,000
MF: .00075 (or less) - Volvo’s guideline is much much much lower.
MSD: 3, $1,050
Acq fee: $695 (no premium)
Down payment: $1,500 (I’d be willing to help out here with $1,500).
RV: 56%, I know it’s set by banks and hard to negotiate but if possible 57/58% helps tremendously but probably easier to change other variables.
Tax: 7%
Payment: $331 w tax
Drive off: $1,936 + $1,050 for the MSDs.
This is below $350 but start below what you want and negotiate.
$44k is going to hard to get without being able to stack A-plan discount over 6%.
Why only 3 MSD? max that out instead of putting a down payment down.
RV isn’t negotiable. Also, you may find a 24 month lease is cheaper than a 36 month lease in this case.
I’m showing 342 before tax with 6% off at 24/10 (369 at 36/10). This assumes 7250 in incentives (west coast), 3000 Aplan and 1500 down and 10 MSDs. To get lower you need to find a dealer who will sell at the old discounting level.
You keep misleading people here. A-plan cash is still stackable with discount > 6% this month in NER. I don’t see why it would be different in other regions. If your dealer tells you otherwise, it’s because he doesn’t want to give higher discount, or he was told last month that it changes Apr 1 and has not been notified that the change was postponed, or it’s really regional (don’t think so).
I thought @Benedetto said that the cap on A plan discounting is now in effect? Not the case?
