2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4X4

Looking at leasing a Jeep GC Limited 4x4 in upstate NY

MSRP for the Limited with the luxury package is $47580
I have $5k of incentives I am eligible for, and then have affiliate pricing which is 1% under invoice.
MF from edmunds is .00009 and residual 53%.

Need 36 months/12k lease.

Is $400/month with $1000 down out the door unrealistic? I know I have seen others get same MSRP with $400/$0 down but I know NY seems to be always more expensive.

If I did this right i tlooks like I have to negotiate down the price to $42k before incentives and the affiliate to get me to $421 with 0 down.

Can someone check my math, and I apologize for being bad at this.

Any suggestions?..

The 24-mo numbers are better than 36, per honcker. Your taxes are a little higher than mine but this is what is showing up for me.

Hey there. I think that’s fairly unrealistic, $440 with two thousand down might be more doable for 12k/yr @ 39 months, with $430 being a stretch and a tremendous pain.

It seems to me like you would like to get this vehicle for $5500 off not including incentives. These SUVs just don’t have that much markup, about $1500. Getting that much even with holdback is going to be a $3000 loser deal. Doing a $1200 loser is a real pain and a bit of a stretch. Maybe there will be some more lease cash next month but shoot for a $1000 loser and prepare to pull teeth for hours. Is it possible? I guess. Is it likely? No way.

so you are saying if I click on that honcker deal in my app, the dealer is losing a stack of cash. I’m going to say that is highly unlikely.

Seems like a pretty good deal if you can get it. I have leased 10+ jeeps and have a Overland, a Limited Hemi, and a JKU right now (all in NJ). The Limited Hemi (my son drives it) I got about a year ago with an MSRP that was slightly higher than yours and with 2k drive offs and a 36 month @ 12k miles it came to $417 a month. I would say take the offer if you can get it. Occasionally there are amazing deals on Grand Cherokees but often they are lesser equipped limited or altitudes.

No I’m saying that’s a different lease program. I don’t know about the 24 month program. I’m talking about a 39 month program. I’ve seen some interesting things on honcker though that are crazy loser deals. Sometimes dealers take the big losers, they usually take little losers, and seldom make much on cars.

Honcker doesn’t show any jeep deals in my area unfortunately. I am in no rush so hopefully the lease cash gets better towards the end of the year.

This is a number I got in the Chicago area, end of July, on a 4x4 limited w luxury group pkg… msrp right under $48k. This is without further negotiations, because they didn’t have the color I wanted. Could of prob knocked off another $1000 or so from DAS. Hopefully it helps. Thanks.

That works out to about $469 with $0 DAS. Pretty bad compared to the current deals we are discussing.

When I leased my Jeep Compass Limited last month using Honcker, the dealer used US Bank.

Thank you, this means I am not too far apart.

I’ll be at the dealer next week, as I found the color I like. I’ll let you guys know the final deal I’m able to get.

I’m not surprised, FCA doesn’t have a true captive lender

What happened to Santander bank supposedly being FCA’s “captive.”

FCA doesn’t own Santander happened

Chrysler Financial exists.

FCA is creating their own captive, or at least were planning on it, over the past few months. They want to control their own bank to offer floor plans to dealers and to help boost sales. Chrysler Financial is part of santander and not controlled by FCA. No captive for FCA.

@DeanDealHitmen is correct

CCAP or Chrysler Capital is a licensed name for Santander Bank
