Fully loaded 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Limited with advanced safetech and 18inch wheel.
Got a lease hacker score of 10.2 years. With 36mo 15k/year, the monthly payment with tax is under 1% of MSRP. I’m happy with this price considering it’s a minivan.
Residual and MF are terrible. But Chrysler capital gave the full $7500 federal tax credit as incentive. And there’s a lease cash and $1000 conquest cash if you already own an electric car.
For a Pacifica Hybrid (crazy standard MF and horrible residual) this is great deal. Congrats! was this deal from last month? how did you negotiate? was this through Chrysler Financial?
Glad to see someone finally managed a halfway reasonable lease on one of these, and they’re certainly not making it easy with the MF/residuals they’re offering.
Thanks! Yes it’s through Chrysler Capital. It’s from this month. I got it on Saturday.
I saw they advertised $6000 off MSRP on their website, which is the lowest I’ve seen in SoCal. There were some strings attached but I negotiated with them to remove those extra charges and fees.
Yes the MF and residual are not in our favor. I got $800/mo quote from many other dealers. It was nice for FCA to pass the entire $7500 tax credit to us. I know for BMW it’s only ~$4000.
I might be better off just finance the car. But I want to use CA carpool lane and the decal expires after 3 years so I’ll need to get a new electric car by that time anyways.
on honcker the cheapest I’ve seen a lease is about $700 with only $700 down on a loaded PacHy Limited. A 36 month finance is roughly $1400, so lease and financing will result in roughly paying the same (~25k residual). However, if you have the tax burden and claim the $7500 tax credit, it drops the finance price down to $1200/mo. I had heard that Chrysler is now passing on the full $7500 tax credit if you lease through them. This should drop the lease price down to about $500. I’m not sure if the Honcker price is factoring in the rebate. Even for around $500/mo I’d consider leasing it instead of financing. In 3 years we will definitely see an Odyssey Hybrid (it’s already out in Japan) and probably the second generation hybrid pacifica, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the residual was even lower than the expected 25k residual.
Edit: the chrysler website is pricing out at $830/mo which I guess is at MSRP. I wonder if the Honcker price of $700 is already factoring in the tax credit?
Just handed this info to a local dealer in South FL and they said this information is not correct… AKA they won’t match. Best deal I got was $3k down $690 month + tax.
Sales guy told me to not take the deal, I told him I wasn’t.
Same here… They wont even entertain taking the 7500 rebate off the capitalized cost… Its really weird… The most they will give is 2500 off msrp…Thats the most I have gotten out here in the greater Tampa area… Cheapest i got was 650+ a month…I was like forget these clowns
How does that even work? Have never leased a car, much more lease from out of state… Any info you can give me on how this works will be appreciated. Wife’s commute is 40m per day in and out… I have solar at home and already have a level 2 charger, so halfway there!! lol
Not sure how it works, been lurking this site and trying to learn. But if you lease at 15k per year that’s 40m a day. Would a lease be worth it if you’re going to get that close to your max mileage?
Thanks for sharing the details of the lease. Are you happy with the car? Any issue that you would have considered before leasing it having driving it for a month?
You get a $500 deposit back at the end of the lease? How does that work and why did they charge $500 deposit?
Last time I checked they still had several marked as $6k off MSRP.
I love every aspect of the car! Adaptive cruise control works very well. Past labor day weekend we were stuck in traffic on our way back from Vegas for 4 hours. I let the car did the driving most of the time when we were in traffic. When we were at gas stop several people came over and asked about our car.
We have solar and level 2 charger at home and my commute is ~30miles RT therefore my commute is gas-free. Plus I can get in the carpool lane to avoid the notorious I-5/405 traffic.
