2018 Chevrolet Camaro SS Lease deal, Good or bad?

Local Chevrolet dealer ran some rough numbers using $42k as selling price, .00152 as money factor , and 56% as the residual Using $500 for doc fees, and a 6.875% sales tax, they came up with a $542/month payment including tax.
This is on a true $0 down lease with all fees rolled into the lease, so $0 due on drive-off.
Obviously the above is a rough estimate, but ~ $550/month including tax with $0 due on drive-off should be attainable for that car?
zip is 07869
Any suggestions?

You love leaving out important info.

Kinda new too this, learning as I go…lol
MSRP - was $45,965, Trim is a Camaro 2SS.

Sorry for the format, not sure what is needed… Just wanted to know if this is a good deal?

Pretty terrible deal, but Camaro is notorious for leasing lousy.

Not sure what to compare this offer too ( reason why im on this site for more info and help).
What would you look for to change for a better rate, so I can use this information for added negotiations.

Are you sure the RV and MF are correct? They don’t match what I see (.00148/55% for 36/10k).

That’s the information the dealer emailed me. Not too sure how to get the correct information for comparison. If the dealer is wrong i will gladly let them know if it can help in negotiations.

The lower RV will not help you. Compared to this deal below, you are getting a bargain.

Try to find a 2017 to lease instead. Try to get around 20% off msrp and go from there.

Lease support through GMF ended on the 17 Camaro. Only chance would be if US Bank or Ally still have a program.

I’ve never looked at pricing on these cars but 3k off is nothing

One of the SoCal dealers (can’t remember which one) in one of the Chevy sales threads said nobody is discounting the 2SS. The 2017 may be a different story, but without lease support, it’s a moot point unless you finance. If they aren’t discounting out there, where they get the crazy deals, you’ll be hard pressed to find someone elsewhere to do it.

Edit: It was actually in the above 2ss thread that’s attached.

if you’re leasing at 12k you’re under warranty. **dealers don’t discount 2SS’s. best bet to do costco auto buying program for any discount.**

I received another offer form a North New Jersey dealer.
How does this offer look?

Make / Model : NEW- 2018 Chevrolet Camaro SS (Trim 2SS).

Month in Lease: 39
Down Payment: $0
Taxed Incentives: $0
Untaxed Incentives:$0
Residual: 55%

So this one has a higher monthly and $3k+ higher drive off and you are asking if this is a better deal?

Seems the MF / and Residual was off on original deal…(Not sure how? Direct email from dealer)
This is the “corrected deal”

I see the rv is supposed to be for 39 months:

15,000 .51
12,000 .53
10,000 .54

MF is correct.

Do you qualify for any incentives? $500 - GM Competitive Lease Private Offer $500 - GM Lease Loyalty Private Offer

Costco pricing?

If I were you, I would look at buying a 2017 with more rebates and a bigger discount.

Yes, I qualify for GM Competitive Lease of $ 500 / and GM Lease Loyalty of $500. I do NOT have a Costco account tho…
Changed RV to .53% for 39 / 12k

Are these offers you have actually received or are you just pricing it out yourself with the calculator? I don’t see how a dealer can mess up the RV several times. Also, are you sure the doc fee is $80? Can you just upload the worksheet for us to see?

To answer your question, no this still sucks. After drive off, you’re essentially paying roughly $625/month It seems you are hell bent on leasing one though, so if you are in love with the car, and willing to lease a car with a known terrible leasing programs, and you can afford the payment, enjoy it.
