To be honest it really is just so stupid cheap that it doesn’t matter much. Almost 1 year’s payments are equal to 1 month payment on our current lease. Plus it probably will not be driven very much in the first 5 months as it is an overlap vehicle. Unfortunately I expect to owe more on the lease turn in with the other one than the entire 2 year lease costs on this one. Or another way to look at it is it is just over 1 set of tires. LOL
funny, that’s pretty much the save reason I got the encore as well, it was going to cost me more in mileage overage if I continued to put miles on my primary car… so why not get a 2nd
Whatever I am quoted from a tire shop I immediately compare it to TireRack.com to see if it is in line with what I should be paying. If not I will either find another place, or buy them on TireRack and worry about getting them installed myself at a local shop.
Looking at the service on the Encore it looks like I will be on the hook for 2 tire rotations/oil changes and 1 engine air filter change. Tires seem to be lasting people 60k miles so no need to worry about tires on this one!
I really am impressed with the package of this car.
Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC
GM’s four U.S. brands all offer complimentary maintenance for 2017 models, but the specifics vary. Buick gets two years or 24,000 miles with no cap on visits as long as they’re part of regularly scheduled maintenance.
This is not true on a single pay lease. GM will refund unused portion. This has been discussed. There is a Texas dealer who saw single pay leases be refunded prorated due to floods for proof.
This is only true if you make a down payment on a normal lease. You will lose that.
