Hi, new to forum and leasing, wondering what do you guys think if its an ok deal for a e530i bmw and m550i? Trying to decide if it’s worth to pay more for a v8 in m550i or just stick with a fully loaded e530i because the monthly price difference is not that big.
Can you provide the vehicle MSRP?
EDIT.
Just saw it.
They only give you 5% of discount for 550i, and 7% for 530i, I’ll say aim at least 11%. The Buy Rate obviously is a mark up, try to ask for base buy rate(credit score 720 and up will qualify)…
Both of them are no go in my book… they are both over 1% of MSRP…
Both of these are terrible deals my dude
Both are horrible deals, I wouldn’t take any one of those
Got it, I wonder how can I make them budge, because so far they are just saying it’s the best they can offer.
The rebates should be $3,000 across the board.
The second quote is only showing 2,500
Also, push more on the discounts as both of these cars are not hard to come by.
Buy Rate is also marked up.
Could be a lot better.
What is your region if you do not mind me asking?
is this the only dealership around you?
Shop around. It’s gonna be tough to get a good deal on a BMW now, since their programs are getting much worse. Also, you’ll probably be able to get a better deal on the 530e than 550
I am in South California.
There are plenty of SoCal Dealers on here that will be more than happy to help.
Also, try a broker!
Thank you, another question, what do you think of a $1170/month incl taxes, $1k due at signing - for a $90K MSRP bmw? Is it also a bad deal?
All of that is contingent on the model that you are looking at.
Different residual values for each vehicle.
Can you be more specific?
SoCal? There’s bunch of good dealer down there! I’m from SF and always travel down to grab a car! and Yes, there’s couple BMW dealer’s internet sales manager here, you can grab quote from them… just PM them. I know @BMW_Dave gives out pretty competitive quote and some others.
2018 m550i fully loaded.
Just got a new offer from a dealer, can you please tell me if its a good deal or not?
MSRP: $94,040
Sale Price: $85,928
Cash Due: $1K
Monthly Payment including tax: $1,183
It’s an awful quote, but the numbers don’t even make sense.
What state are you in? The tax listed looks like it’s for a sale. $817 for tags? What is the RV and MF?
Once you have this info, you can actually get a proper lease quote.
What the hell is a “weight fee”?
I am in California. Thank you
Yup, then they quoted you sales tax on the entire value of the car. Like I said, the numbers in this “lease offer” don’t make sense. Zero transparency.
