I didn’t know they did a GT of the 6 series. I’ve always been a partial to the GC, but that fat back end of the GT looks wrong. Some people really seemed to like the 5 series GT, so I guess they figured they could eek out a few more sales.
IMHO, GT cars from BMW’s are abominations. They take a good looking front end and then attach a rear end that’s comparable to looking at an elephant’s ass that has multiple dingleberries stuck to it. Absolutely hideous.
Usually choice is a good thing (we need more bodystyles, like hatchbacks, not fewer), and 3- and 5-series hatchbacks would be a welcome addition to the lineup, except:
When BMWNA decided to import all these hatchbacks instead of I6-powered 3 series wagons or any kind of 5 series wagon…SMH.
