I came across this 340i with some adds and I actually fit in the car pretty well. I liked it a lot, sounds amazing and really quick. I just want some input on what y’all think on this deal, I asked around and no one can come close to the deal plus they don’t have the adds. I have never leased a BMW before, I currently own a 2017 x5 w/ m sport package I stole that car, from the same dealer.

IMO, this is M3 territory.
Not to mention, none of those add-on features can be factored into the residual either, which adds to the cost.
Check out the pencil I just posted. My buddy who’s a gsm on the other coast told me its a good deal. I didn’t see any m3’s on the lot so thought nothing of it.

Have you had a Dinan tuned BMW before?
Just for a very short time. I like the fact that you can get a modded car with a factory warranty. That’s part of the appeal to me. Also, BMW already underrates their HP/torque and performance numbers. Add the Dinan tune on top of that and you have a moderately anonymous looking car with some serious performance.

You say m3 territory as far as what? hp?
I believe he is referring to the payment being M3 territory. Effective payment with zero down would be $727 or so a month. Unfortunately that’s not what I’m looking to spend on an 340i even if it does have the mods, which I could very well do myself for cheaper. All in all if you want it done by the dealer and your happy where it’s at price wise then I say go for it!! It does look pretty damn good.

Let me get a quote from a dealer on a m3 to compare the 2. Then I will just drive both and see which fits me best. I will say the m3 I am looking at doesn’t have digital dash like the 340i does. That was a nice perk.
M3 looks so much nicer aesthetically compared to the 340i imho.
$300 for stickers… that’s cool. Just don’t do $5k down.
Yeah, I’d say negotiate a better discount, if possible, and see what it looks like with zero down. Then compare to other deals.
And IF they are DINAN decals, they are probably good for 10 HP easy.

What kind of better discount? Im 10k off msrp. I got a quote on a m3 and they are miles away even with 5k down. Obiviously i got some work on my end. But any one know besides the m badging the MAJOR differences between these 2 cars? More hp in the 340 with the tune.
People are smoking crack if they think they are getting an M3 for close to $720/month effective payment. The M3 will certainly outperform a Dinan 340i, but unless you are tracking it, you aren’t going to see much difference in everyday driving. The 340i is a nice looking car with plenty of performance that isn’t going to have every Mustang challenging you to stoplight races.

That was exactly my thinking to be honest. This is just a everyday fun car back and forth to work. Not trying to race. Keeps me from jumping to 1000 a month for a gtr which is really what I want, but gives me 3 years to see where I am at.

I am assuming the exhaust is the M-Power and Sound package. My buddy has it on his 440 GC makes the car sound amazing.
