Dinin exhaust, sound system is harmon kardon
Any more input on this deal? I took the money down off which brings it to $748 a month.
I have owned an M3 with Competition Package from this generation, it was a great car. The M3 has a different engine, transmission, suspension, wheels, differential, interior, body. It is not even remotely the same car, despite sharing some basic components and framework. That said, it looks like you can get a deal on the 340i and deals are hard to get on the M cars. For day to day driving, the 340i should be a fun, quick car and do everything you need it to do.
Thanks for the input Rob. Yea i reached out to a couple bmw dealerships on a m3 and they are just more than I want. I am waiting till about 2nd to last day of the month to throw another offer at them.
This is definitely NOT M3 territory! I’ve never seen an M3 leasing in the 500s with 5k DAS.
You can modify the car yourself and pay a fraction of the cost in comparison to the marked up value the dealership is giving you, but you wont have the assurance of not having your car flagged and the manufacture warranty getting voided!
Honestly, It’s not a bad deal at all, and its coming out of the dealership with warrantied Dinan parts, but its the $7,150.00 you’ll be paying extra that is significantly hurting your monthly payments.
I dont think I can tune a car thats on a lease. Im sure they wont allow that.
~$70k is 100% well within M3 territory. Base model, low options M3 territory, but still within the realm. IMO this would be my dream car if it weren’t for all the Dinan addons and that hideous leather color.
Personally I prefer the look of the M Sport body kit on the F30 over the F80 body, but I’m one of those old school BMW fanboys that appreciates a more subtle look and a sound that won’t piss off the neighbors… too much.
That said, this looks like a decent deal, especially if you’re looking for a fun daily driver. As others have said it would be even better without the addons, or if you could trade those in for a third pedal.
Yes, they do not allow it, but it is out of their control wether you chose to modify your car, and they if you have you have strong connection with the service manager you will never get red flagged.
