Maybe clearing lots for 2019.
These things will move if more people know about them. I get asked every day what is that car I am driving.
I have some
Stelvios? Nice, how much?
Quentin is hijacking them at the port together with his Volvoās
Iām looking at the Alfa Romeo site and in a 100 mile radius from my zip almost all are in transit or show in stock and are not on the dealers site. Except for one dealer or who is either very shrewd or is a total putz.
No shit, all T6s are in his hands in NER. And now Stelvios?
I still have a few more weeks until my Samās Club A plan kicks in. Hoping Quentin keep those S90 coming.
Same here, but I hope for opposite
I was looking at this too. They still show listed on cars.com, autotrader, etc. with plenty in stock. However on dealer websites (everywhere) it only shows a few, and often only inbound cars.
Makes me wonder if some massive dealer website glitch since they all seem to use the same template from FCA.
Case in point: Jim Butler, only shows 4 stelvios on the website, but 55 of them on cars.com
Same thing with the other local dealers site. Only showing dealer ordered cars
Creating appearance of shortage? Like S90 T6 - dealers just donāt bring them from port to save on interest.
Maybe so. Or this problem goes unnoticed for weeks, and dealers wonder why they have the lowest sales ever.
Can only hope.
Maybe all moved to Quentinās house.
Lurking on the Stelvio. Per the above, looks like dealers were cleared out but according to the Stelvio forums, there is a new recall and a stop-sale: http://www.stelvioforum.com/forum/250-alfa-romeo-stelvio-recalls/6122-stelvio-safety-recall.html
That should allow inventory to grow a littleā¦
John.
That explains itā¦
Thatās great news. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts. Surprised theyād do a stop sale over water leakage, not like itād be a massive safety issue Iād think. Unless an essential ECU is located back there I suppose.
Crazy - I want to have faith in AR so badly and giulia is on my list but not giving me much faith.
Yes, I can confirm the recall - all Stelvios are off the lot. I was told defective rear latch is the culprit. Hopefully, that recall is the reason for the lack of any deals this month. Good news is the vehicles are still there, so I would expect after they fix all units to offer even greater discounts. I am in NC (Triangle and Triad region) and the best deals in March were offered here , so I am licking my chops for what is to follow ā¦to be continued.
If this had happened to Tesla we would be shouting told you so, pos, bankruptcy.
Well Alfa Romeo, I told you so you pos and you will be bk soon!!!
Makes you wonder how miserable it would be to be a car salesman when your dealership says we are recalling the majority of the vehicles you have to sell, so your numbers are guaranteed to be bad this month.
Especially when itās literally 1/2 the cars you sell
