Thoughts on the deal?

Pretty darn good and great mf

RV is awful. Your discount helps offset that. 7500 is not much milage.

wow, how did you get 11,000 off MSRP!

That was the advertised special…

South Fl was probably aggressive with discounts. My deal was somewhat similar except 10K in miles 950 out of pocket at $399 tax in (6%)

Just called a Volvo dealer and they are selling 2017 xc60 inscriptions for 32k. Was there a huge redesign in 2018 or something??

Where you been? Have you looked at a dealer lot lately? Lol

Hahahahaha I just got off the phone with a Volvo dealership and they now know I’m a total sucker! Ahhhhh. Well, regardless, right After a redesign is the perfect time to get ahigher end car. 35% off? Might as well max out all trims and options

Edit: I knew the xc40 was completely new but I didn’t know they redesigned the 60 as well. Guess it opened them up to the Luxury standards of Audi and Lexus. They want to erase their old image as quick as possible. Potentially a great time to get a 2017 XC60

LOL They were luxury before Lexus even existed. And what was that old image? The safest car?

All I’m saying is that the name Volvo always left a bad taste in everybody’s mouths.l. They just need a redesign like Cadillac did! Now they have one of the best cars in the most competitive market. Mid sized crossover.

You really know a lot about Volvo :joy:

They need to show a guy like me who admittedly doesn’t know a ton about cars, why they should buy the same car brand that their parents bought 15 years used back in 99.

This is a fair statement, if you even know/remember Volvo cars from nineties and their poor quality.

Volvo was definitely not ‘luxury’ pre Geely reboot. Safe, euro-box yes.

Bulletproof as well…

Eternal question - What is a “luxury” car? BMW and MB don’t even have leather in 90% of their cars. Volvo has it standard for the past 15 years or more (not counting very base ones). Interior materials, finishes and design (subjectively) in BMW have never been better than Volvo’s.
740/940/960 were used to haul bankers, politicians in Europe. Even now, Volvo is not considered luxury for conquest purposes, but Lexus is.

I think Volvo is a luxury car brand. But I totally don’t agree with the statement that Volvos are the safest cars in the world. That is a total BS.

Obviously everybody knows the safest car in the world is a Tesla, amirite?
