2017 Maserati Ghibli S Q4

I’m new to the forum. Still trying to get used to the terminology. I took this lease; looked good to me

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: [2017 Maserati Ghibli S Q4]

MSRP: [$87000]

Months: [39]
Annual Mileage: [10,000]

Down Payment: [$5000]
Monthly Payment (incl. tax): [$850]

Zip Code: [60089]

What was the selling price? I’ve been looking for a Q4 Ghibli hoping to get it anywhere near the 488 but haven’t had luck.

So your effective payment is $978?

No. The security deposit is refundable.

they gave 14k discount. So selling price was around 73k

Yes.
(Have to write something to make this 20 chars)

My bad. It was not security deposit. It was money down. Its not refundable. I’ll edit the original post

Can you return it? Because that deal isn’t worth it. You should of gotten away with no more than $2k down and monthly payments $100 off what your currently paying. It checks out for the 1% rule, but you also just gave away $5k.

IMHO you should’ve consulted this forum first and done more research before purchasing. Lessons learned as I’ve done the same. I once put >6k on a 2013 Lexus GS-F lease when they first came out. Never again after joining LH.

I actually went for a Levante which was at 10k down and 1200 per month… Ghibli looked like a better deal…(5k down and 750 per month before taxes) not planning to return it but will keep in mind for future leases… Currently looking for a QX50 in chicago area for the wife

Sorry man, you got taken to the cleaners on this one. Hoepfully your next one will be better

Is this is a purchase?

not exactly apples to apples… There were other base models for lower msrp; wanted to go with more upgrades…

no… that was the lease price without any negotiations…

Yeah. Not the worst I’ve seen but far from good, especially considering the fact it’s a lease hacker forum. Dealer near me is advertising one with ~$87000 MSRP with $5995 total down for $579 a month (not including tax). Probably could get them even a tad lower as that is only their advertised offer. Not much you can do now OP; just go out & enjoy the new ride!

the advertised deals of $500s/month are at 5k miles per year which is ridiculous…
dont get me wrong… i’m looking for a 2nd car… if there is greener grass some where, would like to get another ghibli for 530/month

To get it to $530, you will need to get $22-25k off MSRP

Agree.I dont understand how others are talking about 535 and 579.

Not sure where you are located but that may play a part as well. Add about $50 per month to the advertised deals to get a good estimate on 10k miles. 20k+ discounts are not unheard of on Ghibli’s. Criswell Maserati just sent out a president’s day sale email a few weeks ago. Was advertising a $86k S Q4 Ghibli for $699 with $0 down. Just looked at their site and i don’t see that deal any longer but they are offering an 83k SQ4 Ghibli for $689 a month with $0 down. (so approx $750 a month with 10k miles).

i’m in chicago. And frankly I’m not able to replicate any of the leasing deals in chicago area :grinning:

If you were in SoCal, they might’ve thrown in a Ghibli with your Levante. I guess Chicago is not a very competitive market?
