I want to give a big shoutout to @HN308 for setting this deal up and making it possible!!!
He walked me through talking with the dealer and everything, this is my first time leasing a BMW and I am VERY happy about the car!

Again, thank you forum and a big thanks to @HN308!!!

I’m assuming this is brand new, and not a loaner? Effective 376/month is decent for a new 330i.

What happened with the MF?

he did an acquisition fee waiver…bumps MF .00050

This is a loaner. The MF got marked up due to waiving the acquisition fee.

What was the mileage hit? this isn’t the greatest deal on a loaner then, but not terrible.

The car had 4816 miles on it.

This is actually a pretty good deal IMO.

It’s not terrible, but I wouldn’t call it outstanding. If he didn’t put 2,000 down, that 293 would’ve been a great deal. I snagged one for $250 with a higher MSRP last month and 0 down.

Whoa, what!??!?!?!??! 0 out the door? That’s insane!!! HOW!?!?

Right place at the right time I guess. I did put down the first payment, so it technically wasn’t 0 down. Not 2,000 down though. There have been some killer deals on the loaners the last couple months.

You still got a decent deal on a 50k car. I wouldn’t lose sleep over it. You beat the 1% rule for sure.

Hahahaha you read my mind exactly. I had buyer’s remorse from the time I read your other post until I saw your last line.

The Mrs said my budget is 300 on my car payment lease…she’s a miser. My Regal lease was ending, and the new Regal is a terrible lease right now, so i was getting a little nervous I was going to end up in a stripper Elantra. I struck gold when I found the loaner deals happening.

Consequently, I have to start biting my nails in about 18 months when I’m getting close on this lease, since sedan sales are tanking, meaning the lease deals might be soon to follow.

They still need to sell them, so I’m sure there will be deals.

Or the significantly cut back on production to create artificial demand, especially since they make their money on the CUVs, which most people want anyways. Granted, that’s probablt not going to happen.

My favorite Volvo is building a factory in SC that will produce S60 in the beginning, at least. Doesn’t look like cutting production
Big 3 - possibly, but I don’t think Europeans or Asians will cut by much. Though I see only few Legacys on the lots while there are 50-80 Foresters/Outbacks.

@coffeelover

Don’t try to compare your lease with anyone who has done it already and in past. Yours is a good deal, its not deal of the century but that doesn’t happen very often. Enjoy your car as its certainly an upgrade from Regal.

You are driving an almost 49K BMW for a payment that most people pay on an Accord.

You need to make it clear in the OP that the 2K you paid when picking up the car is not down payment. Its mainly taxes, fees and 1st month

Ok yeah I should have specified. I guess I just need more experience in this regard and have to be very lucky to score a better deal than this.

Thanks for the deal @HN308!!!
Very satisfied!!!

Taxes fees and first month still get paid one way or another. If he rolled them in, it would’ve been an effective 376/month, down payment or fees upfront regardless.

Again, I said it was a decent deal. Others have done better, and others have done worse. He shouldn’t lose sleep.

It’s a good deal, and for someone who is just starting to dabble in hacking (and needed a car vs. wanted a car) I think they did well. As long as you’re happy, enjoy it!

You’ll get more comfortable with the process the more you do it and eventually you’ll be making dealer’s collective heads spin around backwards.
