It only seems like a small difference between 18" and 19". Also - they can be 45 18" vs. 40 18". I got lucky and found only one Inscription in stock with 235/45/18, though they come in 40 also. But you are right - most of the remaining cars have 19" packages on them.
Hi All, thanks for all the great info and sharing your deals. I saw the S60 cross country deal and went to dealer to try to get it. The $4100 additional was a mistake and Volvo wouldnât make good on it. However they gave me the following offer on a demo (new) with 6850 miles. Let me know what you all think.
$46940 MSRP
$31,696.62 selling price with dealer discount and rebates
.00126MF
24 months / 15k miles
Residual .57% = $25,386
I have no tax due to a trade ($788 equity in trade applied to deal)
Either $299 per month with $581 total drive off
OR $325 per month sign and drive (taxes and fees all included)
I asked about 3 year /15 miles and they quoted $328 sign and drive.
Whatâs your advice? Thank you!
Yes, all 3 are good deals.
Was that the first offer or did you negotiate to that price? Also did you open the car to confirm itâs never been smoked in? Canât hurt to try to negotiate, multiple angles you can go but see if they have any inscriptions which have better #'sâŚTell him youâre not willing to pay one cent over $300 for 15K and ultimately he could be too lazy to bother with the Inscription and just offer the CC at that priceâŚ
I just found out today, and you can use this for leverage Carguy, the MY17 CCâs are just now hitting dealer lots, theyâre were ZERO on cars.com yesterday and 3 on there with ânewly listedâ theyâre all I-4 turbos with 8-speeds (MY16 have 5-turbos with 6 speeds)âŚIt will be better MPG although thereâs no mention of what the MPGs areâŚI would imagine theyâll liquidate CCâs next month because whoâs going to want older worse MPG vehicle? According to Volvo, by the end of June only 320 CCâs have been sold stateside and there are 150ish on cars.com
Check out the 528i thread. Someone is getting a 528i for 299. Thatâs a killer deal too.
No, they started out at offering $3000 off MSRP before any rebates since it was a demo. We went back and forth a few times and Iâm pretty sure this is his bottom line.
I test drove the car and didnât smell any smoke, but good point. I also am having them do a full detail (leather cleaning, carpet shampoo, etc) as part of the deal.
Thanks for the tip on the 528i. That is an awesome deal. I called two local dealerships and both seemed willing to go up to 12% off MSRP. One suggested their might be more room if I came in to talk to manager. So Iâm guessing if I went in ready to sign I could probably get close to 20%. Think Iâll probably go with the s60 cc, since I was interested in the top safety rating and it also uses regular gas.
apologies posted am xc60 invoice here incorrectly
Hereâs my dealâŚDemo w/6k milesâŚ24/12k, $511 drive off, $269.99/mo. $48250 MSRP
@Ursus @goku @vhooloo thanks guys. i posted the invoice on this thread. its approx 40k. Now with $3250 for premier package and $500 Purchase bonus would it be alright to quote around 35k? also an imp point to note is that the car has been sitting on the lot for a full year.
thoughts?
Get them to have the service dept give it a very thorough inspection and tune-up if needed. I assume the car has been moved around the lot and been on test drives, but that is still a really long time without regular use.
And yeah they should be willing to go way under invoice. If they counter, just say âwell itâs been sitting here for a year, I guess you donât mind it sitting here for another year.â
its actually funny because the car acc to manager only had 50 miles on it. sounds more like a âdude wheres my carâ situation.
I second what vhooloo said. If the 38K is before any incentives are applied, itâs a great deal. If it includes all of the incentives, then itâs good, but not the best you can do, most likely.
The wheel rebate is $500 on leases. (â2016 Volvo S60 and V60 Exterior Sport Package with 19â Portia Wheels Bonus Cash")
It looks like a great deal, but double check that money factor. Volvoâs interest rates are extremely low right now. I checked with Edmunds forum moderators to confirm my money factor. They know their stuff.
That looks awesome! Great job.
A couple of things, thoughâŚ
That registration fee canât be correct, is it? Youâre in California. I donât see how it could only be $23. Thereâs also usually a doc fee of $80, a title fee, a tire fee, and a smog abatement fee.
It looks like they are marking up the acquisition fee on you. It should be $695. Youâre being charged $1075, which seems outrageous to me.
Your money factor is equivalent to about 3.02% APR. That might be marked up as well.
Itâs the selling price that is incredible. Iâd be very happy with that, but Iâd also want to know whatâs up with the acquisition fee and the money factor.
Thank you for the advice. The dealer showed me his book with the rate sheets. Some other s60s have close to zero MF but the rebates are not as great. The front page on the inscription has the best of both worlds I think, but the residual is much lower. So it seems you can get a great deal on any s60 but they play around with the variables to get you to the payment based on the model.
Thanks! Remember mine is the CC which has a different MF than the other variants of .00126. Thereâs more to the lease which I didnât post, it does list the $80 doc fee and the aq fee is $995 which is inflated (hence your $1075 calculation in which $80 + $995 = $1,075)âŚNo other fees, It says it is an âusedâ (again itâs a demo) vehicle so perhaps the tire and smog fees donât apply? My first used/demo lease
Of the ten SoCal dealers I reached out two, for the initial and the follow emails, I requested a lease sheet, none including this dealer provided it and once I heard the numbers the I just played by his game and negotiated off the drive off and the monthly paymentâŚNot my first choice but its such a great considering all other dealers were wanting $450/mo with $1000+ in drive offâŚI test drove a local CC yet have not seen/driven the CC in the deal, perhaps I can find a flaw when I pick it up tomorrow and demand a lowered Aq. FeeâŚThanks
Update: Picked up the 2016 S60 Cross Country demo today. Deal was as described. $580.83 cash out of pocket, $788 from trade, plus $1000 conquest cash. Adjusted cap $30,861. MSRP 46, 940. Payments at $299 per mo. Happy with my deal! Thanks for the heads up on this deal guys!
