2016 Infiniti QX60 Deal

How were you able to get almost 20% off MSRP? I think that would be the biggest challenge to replicating this deal.

Max discount that I got is 3000. NO way they are giving 9000

Hey Guys, first time on this forum, and I used the information above from djm85 and the original info from jables04 to see what I can do. I went to Autonation Infiniti Tustin same as original poster worked with David Askaryar.

Although I went in wanting to negotiate on the 2016, they barely had any in stock, so they ran the numbers for me on a 2017.

I HAVE NEVER LEASED A CAR, so any response you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated: (I try to post as much info as I can gather based on the original poster below)

39month/ 15k miles per year lease on 2017 QX60 FWD (FWD, with 1) Premium Plus Package, 2) Premium Package, and 3) Driver Assistance Package)
MSRP: $50,645
Selling Price: $???
Residual: ???
MF (pre MSDs): ???
MF (post MSDs): ???
Cap Cost Reduction: ???

Base Monthly Payment: $398.15
8% Tax Rate
Monthly Payment with Tax: $430

Drive Off was $5,500 and I have no idea what is included

  1. Is this a good deal?
  2. what questions should I ask to make sure I’m getting a good deal?

Thanks

Randy

you should get all the numbers. is that 5500 have msd in it? if not your total payment 583$ which is not good.

if there is 9 msd on it (9x430 = 3870) -5500 = 1630 / 36 = 45 so final 475 then it is fair.

Let me get this straight. You’re saying some guy went to a dealer. Asked them to put together a ā€œfakeā€ deal and then post it on some internet forum? Yea, that didn’t happen…

You have to be patient and shop the dealers - Dealer A may not play ball but Dealer B might.

Thank you for your response. So, the question I need to ask is ā€œIs there MSD included in my total payment?ā€

Sorry if this question sounds basic, I’m just trying to learn the ropes.

get full detail from them

Hi Engin_Ates… Thank you, I will copy and paste the info from the original poster and e-mail them for the full details.

Wish me luck.

Don’t tell anyone you are planning on leasing to start. Email as many dealers as you can and negotiate the selling price of the car first.

Find any incentives currently available.

Put all the numbers in the calculator.

Then take those numbers to the dealer.

No the questions are:
What is the sale price?
What is the residual?
What is the money factor?
What is the $5500 going towards?

They will likely tell you that most of the $5500 is a down payment or cap reduction. You do not want to put that much down on a lease. Instead you should put down multiple security deposits (MSDs) to lower the money factor to the lowest possible amount.

The original post was a 2016 model, so it won’t help you at all.

This is wrong. Some manufacturers restrict certain incentives to retail purchases and other incentives to leases only. Ex. Chevy lease cash

You should find out all the incentives beforehand otherwise the price they may give you is after incentives that may not apply to your deal at all.

Thanks jmac63. I will go back to the dealership and find some more answers and share here with the community.

The dealership look a while to get back to me, but it looks like Engin_Ates was right, they were not utilizing my drive-off towards MSD. In addition to not appropriately allocating my drive-off for MSD, they increased the monthly payment on me to be different than what I discussed. (See below)

LOOKS LIKE I’M GOING BACK TO THE NEGOTIATING TABLES ON A 2016 INSTEAD OF A 2017

Money Factor (post MSDs): .same

Number of MSD Included: $0
Cap Cost Reduction: $3682

Base Monthly Payment: $468.13
Tax Rate: 8%
Monthly Payment with Tax: $505.58

Drive Off: $5,000

What does Drive Off include?
$0 MSDs
$520.75 fees ($80 doc, $363 reg, $10 county fee, $8.75 tire fee, $29 e-filing, $20 smog abatement)

Riverside Infiniti in SoCal

I had a quote of 17% from a dealer in Los Angeles. Riverside Infiniti matched it but when I went to pick up the car, I got additional $750 off because of VPP Program. It came out to be 19% off MSRP after all discounts. Have you tried TrueCar? It is still showing huge discounts on TrueCar.

Just $3000 on 2016 QX60? Are you sure? What is your zip code?

i got 2016 INFINITI QX60 3.5 AWD SUV
MSRP $45610
3500 (2700 MSD + 1st payment + 441fees)
359$ for 39m and 10K

What is the MSRP of this car?

This is my first lease. Leasehackr was a great resource to get this deal.

what is your msrp and how much are you paying
