2016 C300 lease, is this a good deal?

Texas Houston

2016 C300 Luxury package
MSRP: $47550
Residual: 0.59 after 36 months, 10k miles per year
Sale price : $39732 (16.4% off MSRP)

Here is the weird part about leasing in Texas:

  • No acquisition fee,
  • sales tax charged from the full sale price, but the dealer said he has some credit, then the tax is only $679
  • Including all tax, document fee, registration, title, etc, the final price is $40773
  • the guy at the dealership said never heard of Multiple security deposit, and final leasing deal is
drive off $3000 (with 1st month payment included)
    monthly payment is $403

Since this is a bit different than most general lease calculation setup in posts, I want to ask is this a good deal or not?

Not sure about Texas- but if it was in CA…A Mercedes Benz dealer that’s never heard of MSDs?- know that’s unheard of…

ok I’m exaggerating- but MB dealers would be the last ones if not BMW to say they don’t know anything about MSDs. Take your offered price and see if another dealer can beat it or match it, that can do MSDs.

Now I’m not saying you go a bad deal though. Even with the $3000 drive off and $403 a month payment (please tell me this includes taxes… but then again it’s TX - so I don’t believe it’d be that much) it’s better than most advertised prices, much thanks to your aggressive discount on the sales price.

Good luck and happy holidays!

Hi Alex, the $3000 includes tax, title, etc, i.e., it includes everything.
I was pushing to 39k for sale price, but the dealer couldn’t go further from $39,732.

Read #1 on the above lease. Isn’t available on all leases but if this is a MB lease I believe it is. On my FL lease it is listed on the 1st page #5, a5.
Is this guy a salesman or the F&I guy?

If it is not a MB lease have him call the bank (on speaker phone) and ask!!!

No good. Check this

Talked to another two dealers, they couldn’t match the offer I posted here.
So I guess this is the best I can get.
