$15k Off Ioniq 5 Lease Thru 1/31/2024

My friend, are you asking all these dealers you are contacting for quotes or are you making offers? It seems like the former. None of these deals you are seeing are coming from people asking for quotes. Use the info here and the programs/incentives as they apply to you and make reasonable offers.

Yes, all in. I have good relationship with my local Kia dealer. All in, $350/m 24m/10k. MF is high, residual is 72%. Up front is $1,600. I’m told they just want to get rid of it. It’s been on the lot a year and I’m the only person who’s ever test driven it in that time.

When I call or visit I basically am honest up front and say I’m looking for the best monthly offer, I know the incentives and I’m not negotiating. If it’s good I’ll take it. Unfortunately as far as Hyundai is concerned I’ve only spoken to one dealer and I feel they straight up lied to me, trying to keep the cash back for themself.

I’d say there is room for lower. For example mine was effective 335/month including tax with 0 upfront. I did one pay lease of 36 months. I’d say there is room for more savings.

I’m in PA actually not far from this dealership HJHJ mentioned. What state are you in? I’ve never been given a quote under $400/m for a $55,000 ish msrp EV. Could you elaborate in the terms you got?

I’m in Northern California

Hi, JanEV.
Sure. no problem.

I live in Maryland and dealer is Harrisburg PA.
They still have some 2023 in stock.
I talked to Matthew and his manager is Davis.
They are not shady or aggressive like other hyundai dealers.

leaselease @NC got really good deal (better than mine) so you might ask him/her? also.
hope it helps!

An early buyout is not an early termination. There are contract terms that define both. An early termination will be much more expensive than an early buyout.

Not a bad deal at 12K miles a year. But the quote is on a SEL and I have not seen a MSRP that high before. Are there dealer add-ons? MF is that that bad (6%). Does the quotes include tax? with $2K drive offs your monthly on the 24 months is $419.33 while the 36 is $519 (I’ve seen lower on LH but that was at 10K a year). If this was my choice, I would take the 24 months because the car market should be almost back to normal by then and you choices on a good lease will be much better. There might be some good unicorns then too.

Thanks! I didn’t know about lease deal. will consider!

I sent you PM. I believe we spoke to the same dealer.

That’s unbelievable! The shadiness is what is killing me. Just can’t trust anyone it seems. The Baltimore/Washington/Northern Virginia dealers are just terrible. I’m trying to do everything online, so I can sign and drive. Not sure why they don’t want to get rid of their '23s. Greedy I guess.

Is it ok if I share what you sent with Matthew, and say that someone online shared their deal with me? If not, I won’t. Unlike dealers, I have some integrity and definitely won’t share without permission.

Thanks again, that’s very generous of you. Take care.

JanEV.
I understand how you feel. DC/MD/VA dealers … ha…
I’ve already tried to deal with them since I have $330/mon 2K down lease deal and no success. They were not convinced at all. They hide that Hyundai’s $15,000 offer ( they advertise that as “Our dealership” discount )

But this is just a car. please don’t ruin your day because of them.
We have more option than them. we don’t have to stick with certain car/model with our money. With $40K~$50, there are so many good cars in the market.

It is possible that I might not finalize this good deal. Local Chevy Bolt EUV purchasing price is way affordable so to avoid any loan for near future house.

Hope it helps.

Good luck on the house! I spoke to this same dealer and so far they seem very sincere and legitimate. I’m going to meet them in the coming days. If you’re not taking the white model please do let me know even if in a PM here as I may consider that one if you aren’t taking it. I have a deposit on another color right now.

Oh you didn’t take that offer? I’m wondering if they will still go for it.

You are right about other cars. I was just trying to land a deal on a car with a nice discount. I can always wait. I don’t want to lease for more than 2 years because there are other exciting cars coming!

What state are you in JanEV? In PA it seems residents get shafted with EVs. Originally I wanted an Ariya. NY and NJ residents get leases for half the price of PA residents.

I’m in Delaware, losing proposition. Three dealerships here. No '23s

What exactly are you looking for? Specific vehicle, specific price?

I’m hoping HJHJ gets back to me. I believe we are working with the same dealer. If they don’t want the Ioniq or don’t care about the color, I’m looking to get the one they are holding.

Thinking SEL, but I’ll take a steal on an SE. When deals come, the exterior color doesn’t matter right now, can’t go wrong. 24 month lease. I feel skeptical though. The dealers are looking for suckers, and with the help of LeaseHackr, I am definitely not a leasing sucker anymore, although this will be my first one.

What about you? You have your eyes on a particular VIN?

And don’t they have several?
