If money wasn’t an issue i would choose the GV80 over the Tellisade

As a car, or a lease?
As a car. Remember my plan is to trade in the X5 for benefiting from the $5k sales tax saving so it will be a purchase. I know the GV80 leases terribly but that is not relevant in my case.
Nobody here is going to drive your car. Whether Genesis makes it as a stand-alone luxury brand, time will tell (not because they don’t build good cars, but Hyundai dealers are fighting), but the car looks very nice, and Tiger Woods found out before IIHS just how safe it is
If you drive, and you like it as much as most people seem to this, grab one.
It’s relevant if it leases terribly because of poor resale value.
I would expect much better resale value out of a palluride (at least as a percentage)

I thought it leased terribly because of markups over MSRP and high MF. Didn’t know it had low residuals. If the resale is expected to be bad by the captive, it doesn’t fit the bill for me…
It’s not a coincidence; they hired a designer from Bentley IIRC.
