2018 S90 T5 Momentum AWD

I’m assuming that the MF will remain the same and the residual goes up by 6%?

Do you happen to be in the midwest? I’ve been trying to price one out here with the exact same selling price, mileage and MSRP.

Same MF. Never mind, from 36 to 24 and the same mileage? By 7% to 59% on T5 MOM AWD, by 6% on FWD.

Thats so typical. The dealer backtracked on the deal once I was about to sign. Now they say that there was an error and the other manager accidentally put in $2,250 for the DAS and put it in again for the MSDs.

So now my effective payment comes out to be $387 with only the $2,250 for MSDs and $0 DAS

Basically the exact same thing they did to me. I’m guessing this is the same dealer. The new number the sent me after the initial “mix-up” was 499/538 for on a 12k 24/36 after tax. Under 400 with tax was my goal, so still seems like a pretty decent deal to me.

Still a good deal.

So, what car is this- a 2018 S90 T5 AWD?
Sell $38,991 + $1,166 taxes + $399 admin = $40,556?
36/12 52% - $1,521 for miles = $27,804 (functionally 49.3%)

I come up with $384/mo with $384 + $2,000 MSD = $2,384. The calculator wants to show $2,125 DAS. Still looks like a killer deal.

I get $411/mo for 24/12. Pretty small increase for the shorter term. If you drive 12K/year, you’d end up at 31,600 miles vs 43,600 miles on a 36 month lease. The 40K service is expensive- around $800, and you’d be more likely to buy tires and brakes.

If you get another Volvo later, there will probably be a 9 month pull ahead. Even more likely to avoid tires or brakes on a 24 month lease. Tell them to know the acq fee down to $695 for your pain and suffering!

Let me know if you’re able to get this one done and I’m going to try to get that silver one they have for a similar price!

I’ve been working with one of the internet people, but haven’t been able to get them to budge much on price.

I definitely will. Reach out directly to Eric at the dealership. I’m sure he can help out

Would it be in the Chicago market?

It’s $1,420 (7600-500) x 0.20. Not much different, but still $100.

No- it’s $0.20 on all the miles.

No, it’s not. We recently discussed it - the first 500 miles no penalty.

Up to 500 miles, no adjustment. From the Retailer Guide if over:

Adjustment for Miles on Odometer
For leases with greater than 500 odometer miles at inception, adjust the residual value by $0.20 per mile on the vehicle (retroactive to the first mile), and subtract that amount from the original residual value.

Example: Vehicle with 1,000 odometer miles - adjust the original residual value by subtracting $200 ($0.20 x 1,000).

I guess this is the key? Already, then - this settles it. Confusing stuff, must have misunderstood this.

Yep- poorly written. That looks like it’s from an older lease/APR guide.

April, not there any more.
