2017 Volt LT lease help -- SF Bay Area

If I’m understanding the incentives correctly, there are $6000 in rebates right now on 2017 Volt LT. They break down as

  • $4000 GM Financial Supported Lease Program
  • $1000 Chevrolet Select Market Incremental CCR Program
  • $1000 Select Market Bonus Cash

The key question is what is a great sales price. The rest of the numbers seem straightforward.

Before I start approaching dealers, does this seem about right? Should I be able to get a lower sales price? I have Costco membership, so I should get “supplier pricing” assuming that helps my cause.

MSRP: $34,095
Dealer Discount: -$5000
MF: .00067
GM Rebates: -$6000
Acq Fee: $595

36 months, 10,000 miles
Residual: 51% = $17,388.45
Tax Rate: 9%

Option 1) $0 Drive-off, $259/mo including tax
Option 2) One-pay lease of $8137

Not including

  • Costco cash card of $700
  • Utility rebate
  • CVRP
  • Loyalty/competitive (I don’t qualify)

Calculator numbers for one-pay, assuming $5000 off MSRP

He doesn’t have any 2017 Volts left. See his comment here Of course, if he wants to review this deal and help out, that’s always welcome!

these are the available rebates on a 2017 Volt LT for lease. (these are the only ones that apply)

Chevrolet Select Market Incremental CCR $1,000

Chevrolet Lease Cash $4,000

GM Competitive Lease/Lease loyalty $500 (only one or the other)

as for dealer discount, $3,500 off on a LT and $4,000 off on premier is considered aggressive. Any thing more then that is hard to get with availability low. these cars only have $1,500-$2,000 in profit so they’re already being sold at a loss.
