Just got an offer on acura zdx a spec awd. 471$ per month 24 months 10k miles and 1000 down.
I am located in Northwest suburbs of chicago. Just wondering if this is a good deal or can i push back more. Dont have exact number as dealers wont give me anything in writing. Assume they think that i will just take their quote to another dealer.
Could you provide the dealer you got the deal from? Have you been able to find better deal? I’m in north suburbs as well and shoping for the same vehicle. Thanks.
The best offer for ZDX AWD I’ve had today from a dealer here in Oklahoma. Keep in mind this is without the $2300 regional captive lease cash that my state doesnt qualify for.

Net price 49732.09
Rebates: 11500 (4000 conquest, 7500 FED EV)
Cap cost: $38232.09
The only thing holding me up is my negative trade equity.

I’ve got similar Cap cost here locally. About $38900. But after that they add Other fees $1250 and tell me its because I do not qualify for military and grad incentives. Seems weird for me to add them after cap cost. Looks like a hidden fee for me.
For the folks in the Chicago suburbs, are you subject to Chicago use tax (or whatever its called) for the lease? That makes lease, in general, rather unappealing…

That is like almost 50% reduction from MSRP. What is the residual and monthly coming down to?

I’m guessing that includes:
6000 for AP-Y72 2024 ZDX cash for the AWD.
8450 for AP-Y73 2024 ZDX captive lease cash.
The remaining is him coming off of MSRP I guess, he showed me his front end gross profit at -6389.82.
He did have $1495 in add ons so I’m not sure if that negative gross reflects the profit they make on the floor mats, tint, wheel locks and some BS GPS tracker.
So about 7% off msrp after pulling the incenti es and factoring in the add ons

Not sure what tax do they charge as they cannot explain it correctly (tried with two dealers), but they charge a lot. I was expecting 8.25% for Cook county (not Chicago) bit seems like they charge more and do not know why. Just see it in their app.

I was expecting taxes as (Vehicle Price - Residual Value + Rebates to customer)*8.25% in total $1,370
Even if I should pay taxes on all rebates it should be $2,603
But somehow their system counts my tax to $3,300 at it makes the deal way worse than with $1370.
Additionally they add $1,250 in “other fees” and cannot explain as well.
