Even for an Audi this seems high, I guess incentives are not as good and MF may be higher. This site thought my $799 w/ $3k DAS (no MSD) was a bad deal for a $69k Prestige in September. Let’s see how this goes, hope it sells! This car is wonderful and I hate when people compare it to 440i since it’s years ahead.
This is a prestige model which shoots the MSRP high and lowers the residual which is pretty much the case with all Audis and why the payment seems like a lot for some users.
Any broker/customer thats familiar with Audi knows that the whole “1% rule” goes out the window. Audis notoriously lease crappy which is why you only see this forum plagued with BMW fart boxes.
For a 19 SB Prestige this is a pretty decent deal.
This is the problem with all the 1% rule talk. Yes that is a good general guideline. However when it’s taken as gospel it causes people that do not have all the facts to use it to condemn deals. Is this a “good deal” when compared to what you may be able to get for comparable money with a different car? Perhaps not. Is this a good deal for this car? Yes.
How is it a good deal? I would understand if it were the R, or and AMG or the M,or some limited edition that implies a premium… but for a REGULAR vehicle, dime a dozen, i just dont see it. However, if you want one and your willing to pay because you love the car ,than thats fine, but i dont think its a good deal…just my opinion
This is not for a “regular vehicle”. This is for an “S” Audi that is the equivalent to a “43” level AMG. It goes 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. Furthermore it is sportback model not a normal S5 coupe which is much more desirable and in demand. On top of that it is the Prestige trim which is the top of the line for Audi and comes with almost all of their options standard. You ask how is this a good deal? I counter how is it not? What are you basing your question on? Do you know anything about the market for these cars or what they usually go for? What is your basis for comparison?
