Just curious here - did wife drive it or just saw and thought it was cute and purchased? What is the remorse about the power or ride or size or what?
The real answer is don’t bail her out and let her learn her lesson. She didn’t involve you in the purchase.

Try getting quote for your car from CarMax or Carvana. They usually give more than any dealer. And as long as you provide honest information about your car their prices are solid
