Maybe there’s not enough meat on the bone?
Is that sale price before any incentives?
“meat on the bone” ?
after
There’s not much in the way of incentives on them either. Unless theres loyalty or comp lease included there only about 900 of that discount is factory incentives.
I think they’re offering employee pricing on those now so you may be able to do better if you shop around. I’m sure dealers haven’t offered any major discounts to make them worthwhile or leasehackr worthy which is why you haven’t seen anything on here.
Assuming a best case scenario using the most recent 2019 ZR2 numbers I could find for 36/10k (62% and 0.00192), a very aggressive 14% pre incentive discount with 2000 in Chevrolet loyalty and the 900 in incentives you’d be at 483 with NJ taxes I just used as an example.
sounds like i should have no problem then but let the games begin lets see what they say around here
Well I don’t know what location you are in. Some markets are more competitive than others. Also I don’t know what you qualify for. Do you have a Chevrolet in the household? Or another GM product or a competitive lease? Chevrolet loyalty is worth 2000 this month, other GM and competitive leases are worth 1500. The biggest part of the puzzle is the dealer discount though. You need to negotiate that first before you talk about leasing. You need to reach out to several dealers in your area and ask them for their current selling price before any rebates and incentives are applied. 10% off before incentives would be a “good” number. Chevy dealers can do 14% on certain vehicles if they really need the sale. Employee pricing and/or Costco pricing could help. I’m doubtful that they can be combined, but essentially they just amount to an extra rebate the dealer gets to apply to the sale. The amount can vary by model, even VIN.
Why don’t you get the MF, RV and Incentives for starters?
36/10k (62% and 0.00192)
36/10k (66% and .00215)
36/12k (69% and .00177)
They are pretty cool looking cars, haven’t seen many in Michigan where every cool domestic truck is all over
MF does not vary by mileage, it varies by trim or monthly term…so I am not sure what you just posted.
You need to get all the input numbers and some dealer quotes.
Employee pricing makes me giggle. Another feel good gimmick to make people thing they’re getting a great deal when they’re not.
For reference our X3 M40i lease is approx 12% under a comparable employee priced lease.
im just going by numbers posted on this forum when you search “zr2”
Why not spend that time getting the actual numbers from Edmunds or a local dealer instead?
Not saying the employee pricing automatically gets you a good deal, but can be used as a stepping stone to a better one. We all know how GM leases now, and with most dealers seeing the ZR2 as a golden egg on the lot, the employee pricing carries more weight. It’s all relative.
costco discount a real thing?
You have answered your own question.
whats this mean?
It means that I doubt a $50k+ midsized pickup is getting many customers.
