Some states tax on trade-ins and some don’t. California taxes on trade-ins. We didn’t build the option to elect how trade-ins are taxed because we were cautious with overbuilding a consumer-oriented calculator when it is already overwhelming to most users. We are happy to build that in if there is a popular request.
