Which subvented lease program to use in RateFinder?

,

I’m pricing out a 2024 Hummer EV 3x. There are two subvented lease programs that show up and look identical. One has a 5.93% MF and the other has 13.13%…drastic difference in payment. The numbers on the lower one look too good to be true. How do I know which program to refer to when putting together an offer?

one (WFP) is for the Omega edition.

Usually on RF when there are 1 or more subvented programs, something in the program name often refers to a build code or feature (eg decodes to 2WD/AWD, Reg/Ext Battery, etc.). When this posted I pulled the order guide for the HEVs and didn’t find anything that corresponded to OP’s question, so I’m curious how you connected the dots?

Yesterday I was curious about how the Charger was leasing in my Ohio ZIP code and noticed something similar.

The difference here is that there are two leasing companies.

Obviously we’re talking about a different manufacturer, but I had to read the details a couple of times before I spotted this (obvious) difference.

I think at some very minimal point the human mind gets disclosure fatigue and stops processing information, which is why car ads work.

I found zero difference in language between these two programs. The only thing that changes is the MF…one is 9.1%, the other is 6.5%.

I am actually looking at an Omega, so now I realize the “WFP” code in residual refers to that, but both programs have the same residual regardless of that.

The payment difference with the money factor switch is $246! I’ll have to ask the dealer today and see if I get any information that makes sense

I’ve leased four different brands.

Audi and BMW incentives are generally straightforward (although sometimes there’s unpublished trunk money).

GM and Stellantis leases are much denser topics, even more so the incentives.

On our Blazer EV the dealer had to kick in an equal amount of money because they had misinterpreted the eligibility requirements of a conquest incentive.

I asked them at least twice if they were sure that we qualified because we had to drive 90 minutes to pick up the car and I didn’t want any surprises in the finance office.

Yea they have the same RV, omega has had a much higher MF since it came out that’s why they lease like crap
