I’m considering an EV lease but not sure where to start with home EV charging. I’m considering a Honda Prolouge which currently comes with a free Honda Home Charging Station and up to $500 toward installation.
My problem is I don’t have a garage. I can’t find any definitive info if the Honda unit can be installed outdoors. Either on an outside wall or via a pedestal type station.
Will electricians come out a provide a free estimate for something like this just based off me possibly getting an EV? I’m not looking to waste their time, but I also don’t want to commit to an EV without knowing my upfront cost for a home charger, especially on a lease I’m only going to have for 2-3 years.
