When you should start looking to replace your lease

When is the best time to start looking for that new lease? I’ve never carried a lease to its full term and always seem to be bringing forward that negative equity.

My current lease is a 2015 Lexus RX350 that is up in March 2018. Payment is $484 and I would like to move to a GMC Yukon LT but pay roughly what I’m paying now.

Any suggestions or insight?

see if you can lease swap out of it on swapalease or leasetrader

The most recent two posts today were 3 days after leasing a subaru and 1 day after leasing an e300. So I think it is never too early to start replacing your lease…

6 months before, maybe a year, often times manufacturers and dealers have lease pull aheads they can use to move you out of a lease if your going back into the same manufacturer.

It depends on what your lease terms are. Get the payoff quote, go to carmax or any other place what would let you sell the car. See if you have negative or positive equity. Once you have a fair idea of how much your car is worth you can trying to trade it in for GMC.
For most vehicles, end of quarter is the best time to lease a car.
