It says call or text for more info, but the only contact is the craigslist email link through the reply button on top.

No license plate on the car–did they take it off for pictures, or is this a dealer pretending to be a private seller?

If you look at the area shown on the map in the ad, it doesn’t look anything like the background in the pictures.

I bet if you look, you’ll find the same exact ad posted for other locations around the country.

Definitely worth checking out. Get a PPI if it passes your visual inspection and test drive. Doesn’t have to be a Porsche-worth PPI with a compression/leakdown test but a visual PPI get it on a lift to make sure no fluid leaks from powertrain or structural rust.

I’m paying $150 for a PPI at an asian import specialty shop on a ‘90 miata. No idea what’s fair or not but they said it takes about an hour. Price felt fair to me so I okay’d it

100 to 200 is reasonable for most vehicles.
Bring it to a shop that specializes in that brand since they will know common failure points.

Anything under $200 is worth it, when i was shopping for 997’s each PPI was close to $450 so i assume half that for a normal car

We agreed to $7000 (from $7800) before the inspection. The inspection revealed the car needs new pads and rotors for front and back, and needs either: (1) rear main seal; (2) valve cover gasket; (3) oil pan, or all 3. I asked him to come down another $500 to compensate for roughly half of those costs, waiting for his reply…even if he denies I’ll still scoop it for 7k
