What went wrong sending my parents in to finish the deal?

I spoke with a dealer near my parents (I live out of state) on an Equinox EV 2LT. We agreed on what I thought was a fair deal. $338/m with 0$DAS ($4000 off MSRP, Supplier and Conquest for $2500)

I sent my parents to get their car,but when my parents called me after (already signing the lease), they told me it was $411/m, and the car came with a hitch that wasn’t even physically on the car. I had already told the salesperson to remove the appearance protection, and no hitch was mentioned before sending them in.

It looks like the dealer did not give them the agreed $4000 off MSRP.

Did this dealer spoof my elderly parents?

Here is the agreed-upon lease vs. the end deal document

36m/ 12,000
$44,840 MSRP
$4,000 DISCOUNT
$2,500 REBATE
$399 DEALER DOC FEE
$133.24 TAX
$85 LICESNE FEE
$164.50 TITLE FEE
$38 ELECTRIC FILING FEE
$10 LIEN FEE
$28 WHEEL TAX
$175 ELECTRIC SURCHARGE
$39,372.74 BALANCE

$32,734 RESIDUAL

$338 PER MONTH (NO MONEY DOWN)

Residual Value difference $29,624 pretty much explains it

Thank you. It’s there, lol.

The RV cannot be changed by the dealer…

Which one is the correct RV?

Looks like the RV on the final lease agreement. It was my bad for not catching that. Seems like the random hitch for $1000 would have kept the deal near the original offer.

Looks like they gave them $4045.31 discount ($3317.98 discount and $727.33 paid as cash up front)
