What should I do with at the end of my lease?

Hello!

I have an ioniq 6, great car. But it’s a 24/12k lease. Got it for a good price last year. However in 1 year I put 25k miles on it. However, I get a stipend from work & 30¢ a mile, and the overage is 20¢ a mile. And I have set aside the money for this. Also someone hit my side, I got the quote from them, and the insurance sent me a check, and I found a body shop for the repairs. My question are:
Should repair the car?
If so when?
Should I lease another ioniq next year?
Does Hyundai waves the lease deposition & 500 in damages?

Get the car repaired now. Keep it the car until the end of lease term. When the lease is over buy a car if you are driving 25,000 miles a year.

Or a Nissan lease if he continues to get a stipend for miles

If you don’t like paying a really high fee when you turn it in you should
When? RIGHT NOW before all that starts to rust up and prices go up next year for the same repair.

Hyundai sometimes wavies disposition, but it depends on their mood (sometimes they do sometimes they don’t), but $500 waiver? Lol…that’s for like a small scratch, not an accident.

That is true Nissan does a good job. But the ioniq 6 is def an amazing car that has free charging. There is a reson why I have it. I knew the overage when I was going into it.

Thanks, I will go look into the repair in the coming few weeks. The advice I saw earlier was it was fine, don’t worry about it.

post a pic here of the damage and we can advise you.

Thanks! I appreciate it!

they are NOT going to forgive something like that, it looks larger than a credit card.

I’m not sure if Paintless Dent Repair can save it, (PDR), get some quotes. But the longer you wait the more rust under there and the inspector WILL find it.

I’ll send it to the body shop, it was another person who hit me, and there insurance already took responsibility. It was quoted at 3500 for the initial estimate. I have an open claim with them. I’ll send it to repair soon.

If you already received the $3,500 check, I would get a quote from a different body shop, and tell them you want the cash/non-insurance rate. When I did this about two years ago on similar damage, the cash/non-insurance quote was about half the insurance quote.

The Black Sharpie, obviously.

The cars green. I didn’t know how green it was until I washed it. I bought the car at night and thought it was black.
